The duo released their debut LP, Purple Naked Ladies, digitally on December 20, 2011. A physical copy was released on January 31, 2012, making it the first physical release on Odd Future's own record label, Odd Future Records. To date, three singles have been released from the album: "Love Song -1," "They Say," and "Cocaine". On February 1st, 2012 The Internet released a free EP consisting of 4 bonus songs that were originally intended for the physical copy and is available for download on www.oddfuture.com.

I had surgery this past month and during my recovery I will never forget the way this album lifted my spirits. Something about it reminded me of being at home in my comfort zone and lifted my spirits when I had to walk around the hospital feeling my worst. I could remember the awesome vibe of this group in the video and used it to escape my pain. The nurses in the hallway said I looked as if I was dancing with every turtle speed step I took forward. God bless all of you with amazing careers! You'll be missing one less fan in Detroit this December, but I'll be watching for y'all to roll through again.
