1. The Jets are a family band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, composed of brothers and sisters who specialize in pop, R&B, and dance music, particularly Latin freestyle.
The group officially formed in 1985, with the original lineup fizzling out by 1990. Several members of the family stayed on throughout the 1990s, unofficially reviving the group in the mid to late 1990s as a gospel outfit with most of the original members present.
Various record companies have released collections of songs from the group's popular period, while the modern incarnation of the group continues to perform at various small venues, primarily casinos and private corporate functions.
2. The Jets formed in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1958 as The Rocking Explosives and debuted on stage in 1960. Their instrumental guitarmusic sounded similar to The Shadows. They renamed the band to The Jets in 1963. The group had a big hit in Japan with an instrumental version of 'Goldfinger' under the name The Goldfingers (due to another band in Japan called The Jets). In 1966 The Jets were aiming for succes in England and recorded the single The Pied Piper, a later hit in the version by Crispian St. Peters. The Jets reformed in 1982 and still performs today.
3. Great pop has not been as prominent this decade as in the last but songwritters Graham and Mick are helping to remedy that. It's obvious they share the thoughts and dreams of John, Paul, The Hollies and Dave Clark. Both cuts are previously released as a single, TTR 7805.

Face To Face
The Jets Lyrics

Pretty face
Hey
How can I forget
The best memories
If
Im always out of place
I cant get out of this
The type of your taste
The person you wont miss
Pretty face
Pretty face
Everytime I see you
I dont know what to say
Do I need to be
In a breezy way
I just let this bass
And the drum beats do their play
Hey
How did I forget
To close my eyes and sleep
Ohhhh
My heart feel so quiet
My brain thinking so deep
Everytime I see you
I dont know what to say
Do I need to be
In a breezy way
I will stop this bass
And the drum beats stop to play
The Jets’ song “Face to Face” is a love song that expresses the insecurities and confusion of the singer as he navigates his feelings towards someone he admires. The opening lines of the song describe the singer's problem of always being out of place and not being able to forget his memories of the person he has feelings for. He acknowledges that he is not the type of person that the other person would prefer, and that he won't be missed by them. The singer sees the person he admires every time he tries to communicate with them, and he's unsure of how to approach them. He feels that he needs to be in a “breezy way,” possibly meaning that the only way he knows how to act is casual, to not show how much he cares. He becomes lost in the music and lets the bass and drum beats do their play.

To me, Elton and Billy are both winners in that little musical challenge.
They’re both exceedingly talented and phenomenally skilled at the piano and seeing/hearing them combine (and show off) their distinct piano styles during the solo part of “Bennie and the Jets” so seamlessly is exciting on so many levels.
Say what you will, but this was an epic performance on so many levels and they know how to play the shit out of a piano!

Billy's moves at 5:03, wow. Name two piano players that play with as much skill and soul as these two.
Jane Carbone
It's 2023 already and I could watch these two play and will until the day I die. I saw them both in concert in the 70's and 80's but never together. They are like a comment I read on a different video, the Rocket Man and the Piano Man. They are both extraordinary musicians

I love how they challenge each other at the end. Brilliant musicianship!
Sophia Rose
They did that their whole careers. Because they were the only rockers were the piano was apart of their show.
GAMING LEGEND
@Sophia Rose Sad Freddie Mercury noises
Oliver Kennard
@GAMING LEGEND Freddie was great but he wasn't binded to the piano like Elton and Billy are.
GAMING LEGEND
@Oliver Kennard Yeah, he had a larger stage presence
Levi Sullivan
@Oliver Kennard I’d say Elton’s more binded to the piano than Billy is. Elton’s at the piano the entire show whereas Billy gets up and dances around a bit and even does a little guitar.
