I'm still not sure what I would like to do with my degree. I think I know where the jobs are-finance, government contracting, large-scale consulting- but I have yet to step into a topic I feel really passionate about. I'm hoping it will come to me in the next year. Definitely a question that keeps me up at night sometimes. I think a person should always (whenever possible) make room for classes they like but don't necessarily need. Being strong at math will never be a useless skill. The same can't always be said for other disciplines (english, for example.) I think everyone has the tools to be successful at math, but not always the determination or initiative. I'm biased, but I would say go for it.

BootsToBooks You're welcome. May I ask you a question? What would like to do with your math degree? Also, would you recommend someone to take more math classes eventhough it's necessarily needed for my degree? My last math class I took was pre-calculus but It didn't go well. I've always been afraid of math but I think math is very interesting when I understand it.
