A million white flowers in a field in the sky
The children saw a vast expanse of flowers while flying high in the sky.

Seemed to spell out a greeting as the children flew by
The flowers appeared to say hello as the children passed by.

A guard in a chariot of silver and gold
A guard riding a luxurious chariot approached the children.

Gave the children all tickets, then the story he told
The guard handed tickets to the children and narrated a story to them.

Of a time in the future that was sunshine and flowers
The story the guard told was about a future filled with happiness and joy.

And the children grew sleepy in the sky's white towers
The children grew drowsy in the awe-inspiring heights of the sky.

They dreamed of the story that the guard had displayed
The children had a dream about the story which the guard had just told them.

They saw all the wonders, tiny minds were amazed
In their dream, the children saw astonishing sights that left them in awe.

They saw candy forests and dragons that breathed fire
In their dream, the children saw magical forests full of sweets and fire-breathing dragons.

On all that was evil in the misty mire
They witnessed the dragons fighting to overcome the evil in the swampy marshes.

They came to the village where the turtles in caves
The children flew over a village and saw turtles living in caves.

Made pies for the people and the lemonade
The turtles made delicious pies and refreshing lemonade for the people.

The people lived out by the sea and each day
The village was by the sea, and the people there waited to hear the sound of seagulls each morning.

The seagulls would wake them as they passed on their way
The seagulls flying by the village woke the people up every morning as they passed through the sky.

The people were kindly, they would sing to the sky
The inhabitants of the village were warm-hearted and loved to sing to the sky.

And each bright new morning, the sun shone from their eyes
Each morning, the village's residents woke up with the sun radiating from their eyes.

The children passed over and all the people could see
As the children flew over the village, the people there saw them.

As they dived from the sky to the treacle sea
The children flew down into the dark, sticky treacle sea.

They bathed on the white sand, minutes turned into hours
The children enjoyed playing and swimming on the white sand for a long time.

And the children all giggled and gave each other flowers
Happily, the children laughed and gifted each other flowers.

The King from his castle came down to the sea
The King noticed the children playing in the sea and approached them.

And he spoke to the children so patiently
The King spoke to the children in a gentle and kind manner.

He gave them small presents and bid them farewell
The King gave the children some small gifts and then wished them goodbye.

And the children unwrapped them, tiny silver bells
The children excitedly opened their gifts and found tiny silver bells inside.

Their tinkling floated across the island with ease
The sound of the bells echoed across the island smoothly.

And it came back toward them on the perfume breeze
The music of the bells was carried back to the children on the perfumed wind.

They smiled at the tinkling, they gazed at the sun
The children smiled as they listened to the bell sounds and looked at the bright sun.

And they smiled at each other, pretty little ones
The children looked lovingly at one another, happy and content.

A beautiful white horse came down to the sea
A stunning white horse appeared on the beach.

And the children all climbed up as he knelt on one knee
All the children got onto the horse's back as he knelt down on one knee.

They rode through the valleys and high over hills
The children rode the horse through beautiful valleys and over high hills.

And they laughed oh so loudly, their fear to kill
They laughed with joy, leaving their fears behind.

They came to a lakeside of deep velvet and green
The horse carried the children to the shore of a deep green lake covered with velvet grass.

And they all stared in wonder at its beauty serene
In amazement, the children looked at the lake's peaceful beauty.

They climbed from the white horse, they watch as it goes
The children climbed off the horse's back and watched it as it left.

As they stood by the green lake for to kiss their toes
They stood by the lake to dip their toes and feel the freshness of the water.

A boat in the distance was suddenly there
They saw a boat appearing in the distance.

Waiting to take the children to anywhere
The boat was waiting for the children to take them anywhere they wanted to go.

The porcupine captain said that he didn't mind
The boat was captained by a porcupine who welcomed the children aboard.

In his coat of black needles, he looked very kind
Despite his prickly coat of black needles, the porcupine captain appeared kind and gentle.

His crew were six rabbits with fluffy white ears
The boat was manned by six rabbits having fluffy white ears.

And the children all stroked them and lost all their fears
The children overcame their fear of the rabbits and started stroking their fluffy ears.

They sailed through the sunshine, across the green lake
The children sailed through dazzling sunshine over the green lake.

And they drank lemonade and they ate ice-cream cake
During the voyage, they enjoyed delicious lemonade and scrumptious ice-cream cake.

They landed in a dark cave as the boat disappeared
The boat vanished as they landed inside a dark cave.

And they all stood in darkness, through the shadows they peered
They found themselves in complete darkness with only shadows for company.

But out of the blackness shone diamonds so bright
Suddenly, they saw dazzling diamonds that shone brightly in the darkness.

Their tiny white hands shielded eyes from the light
They covered their eyes with their small white hands to protect themselves from the bright light.

In a pool of quicksilver stood Neptune so wise
In the middle of the diamond pool stood wise Neptune, portrayed as a silvery figure.

And pearls were his white teeth, bright diamonds his eyes
His white teeth sparkled like pearls, and the bright gems of his eyes shone like diamonds.

He spoke to the children in a voice of velvet
Neptune addressed the children with a voice that sounded like soft velvet.

And he beckoned them to him, in a circle they sat
Neptune invited them to come closer and sit in a circle around him.

He told of sky island and of his magic cave
Neptune shared the story of enchanting sky island and his magical cave with the children.

And magic pink seashells to the children he gave
As a gift, Neptune gave the children magic pink seashells.

They listened intently as the music came far
The children listened to the far-off music coming from the magic seashells with rapt attention.

From the magic pink seashells and nobody talked
No one spoke as they listened to the music emanating from the magic seashells.

But Neptune had vanished when they lifted their eyes
As the children raised their heads, Neptune disappeared without a trace.

So they walked from the cave as two kingfishers cried
The children left the cave on foot, and two kingfishers cried from afar.

In the bright shiny sunlight, they got down on one knee
They kneeled under the shiny sun as they came out of the dark and into the light.

They listened to the sea shells of the magical sea
Finally, they listened to the music of the magic seashells next to the enchanting sea.

But the day grew much darker, so they climbed on the breeze
Since the day began to darken, they boarded a strong wind and began to drift away.

And they floated to the village, and the people were pleased
They were carried by the wind to the village, and the inhabitants there were overjoyed to see them.

To see them so happy with their tinkling bells
The people were happy seeing the children enjoy the tinkling of their silver bells.

And the people all listened to the musical shells
The village's residents listened to the music coming from the magic seashells.

But the children were so sad, the time had come to leave
Despite having a great time, the children were sad knowing it was time to depart.

So the people waved goodbye and begged them to believe
The village's inhabitants waved goodbye to the children and implored them to remember their experiences.

Of the wonders they had seen in the island of the sky
They urged the children not to forget the sight of the magical sky island they had witnessed.

And the children said they would and away they did fly
The children promised to remember their journey and flew away.

Through the white clouds of no time till forever it seems
They flew through the endless, timeless expanse of white clouds that seemed to stretch on forever.

And the children stayed children and they lived in their dreams
The children remained children in their imaginations and continued to live their experiences in their dreams.
