Lyrically, McCoy's themes of mysticism are still prevalent. Musically, the album is much harsher than previous Nephilim releases, with a more industrial-metal edge.
After The Nefilim disbanded, McCoy went back to recording under the Fields of the Nephilim banner, Rippin and Miles went on to form Sensorium and Houchin went on to form Saints of Eden.
According to the official Fields of the Nephilim site, Carl McCoy has incorporated "Zoon" into the Fields of the Nephilim discography, after "Earth Inferno".

The lyrics of The Nefilim's song Zoon Part 3 seem to be about an intense and perhaps somewhat unsettling experience between two individuals. The first person (presumably the singer) expresses a desire to be with the other person and knows them intimately, saying that they have been watching them and that they can control them. The second person is lonely and appears to be hiding from something, but the first person invites them to lay their head in his/her lap and close their eyes. The second person seems to be aware of the first person's presence even when they are asleep, and the lyrics suggest that the first person might have some kind of power over the second person's dreams or subconscious.
The lyrics then shift to more menacing territory, with the first person demanding that the second person "show me what it is / what you're hiding from" and insisting that they know who the second person really is "by the fear in your heart." The second person is blinded "like the sun" and only feels the first person tearing them apart, while the first person urges them to "tune your mind, reach inside, peel away" and "let it all escape." Eventually, the lyrics become more abstract, with references to false dreams and being "dead from the start." The song ends with the first person proclaiming themselves to be a "creator" and a "man maker," perhaps suggesting that they have god-like powers or that they are manipulating the second person in some way.
