Frankie Knuckles was born and raised in the Bronx, NY City and started his DJ career in 1977 - 1982 at the Warehouse.. It is widely accepted that his style of DJing and his selection and the appeal of the Warehouse gave house music its name, although in the beginning, the word 'house' was used only in Chicago to denote something which was cool, hip, fresh or bad.
Let The Music Use You
The Nightwriters Lyrics

This song is from my heart
No fue fácil desde el principio.
It wasn′t easy from the start
Heyeyey, ¿no puedes ver?
Heyeyey, can't you see?
Everybody′s dancing with me
Mira a tu alrededor
Take a look around
Todos alrededor de la ciudad
Everybody all around town
La música toma el control
Music takes control
Música que es buena para tu alma
Music that's good for your soul
Deja que la música te lleve al pueblo
Let the music take you to the town
Cuando empiezas a moverte
When you start to move
Y sientes que quieres bailar
And you feel like you want to groove
Mueve tu cuerpo por el piso
Move your body across the floor
Trabaja tu cuerpo como quieres un poco más
Work your body like you want some more
Deja que te lleve al pueblo
Let it take you to the town
The Nightwriters' song "Let The Music Use You" is a classic example of a 90s house music anthem that gets crowds moving. The lyrics describe the power of music to take control of your body and spirit, and how it can transport you to another place where you can let go. The singer explains that the song comes from their heart, and that it hasn't been an easy journey. They encourage the listener to look around and notice that everyone is dancing together, and to let themselves be carried away by the music to the town where they can work their body some more.
The song's soulful vocals and uplifting melodies reflect the early 90s house music scene, which was characterized by its energy, soul, and positive messages. The lyrics emphasize the inclusive nature of the dance floor, where people from all walks of life can come together to groove to the beat. The repetition of "let the music take control" drives home the idea that when you surrender yourself to the rhythm, you can experience a kind of spiritual release.
