"Is The Rabbit Joint the artist of this song or is it System of a Down??"
The Rabbit Joint (Joe Pleiman & Jesse Spence) made the track, NOT System of a Down OR the band Mr. Bungle. Back in the Napster days, someone mislabeled it, and the urban legend started.
The Rabbit Joint WAS a band, and NOT just the name of the 1998 album the Zelda arrangement was on [also named "The Rabbit Joint"]. The current name of Joe Pleiman & Jesse Spence's band is Bluegrazer, and they're based in Massachusetts.

If you like The Rabbit Joint, check out the following bands on myspace, all of which feature Joe from The Rabbit Joint: Summer Villains, Bluegrazer, Mister Beatdown, The Fall Leaves, Switchblade, AM Winter, The Hovitos, Groove Palestine, Safari Attack")
On the January 10, 2002 radio episode of Loveline (with Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew), Shavo Odadjian, bassist of System of a Down, explicitly denied the band making the song when questioned by a fan. Despite other claims that the band has performed the Zelda arrangement live, there's never been any evidence.

@ocremix
The song was originally released on The Rabbit Joint's self-titled album in 1998. It was later posted to OC ReMix in 2000 with the group's permission, (back in the days before artists submitted directly to the site, and our founder djpretzel reached out to the artists for their approval).
@a_Fax_Machine
Everyone questioning why people think this is confused for SOAD have never experienced the hell that was Limewire.
@bigbaddawg101
I remember the first time I heard this song. It was used in a Legendary Frog flash animation.
@bearnando
It's incredible that I've been thinking this was System of a Down since 2004, holy molly
@k-leb4671
Holy crap, this song is a blast from the past. The days of Napster...of old flash videos...of really bad YouTube uploads of flash videos...of OCRemix.
It seems nowadays the song is all but forgotten, but I hope it makes a resurgence eventually.
@KainDrake
Brings me back to the beer song used on the Trigun amv and a final fantasy video on New grounds that used the chocobo theme as its basis.
@lpsp442
My word, I had no idea this title was an OC Remix! And to think I've known this song for... what, approaching two decades?
@FlexxibleFree
Legend. Finally found it again.
@linkganonslayer000
I remember listening to this when I was like in the 3rd-4th grade ;) I remember the nostalgia!
