Please consider seeking help from a pointe shoe fitter trained in anatomical fitting like Josephine Lee from The Pointe Shop.
I can speak from experience, pointe work doesn’t have to be painful, and I’m a 41 year old dance teacher. Everything hurts in my body, but the shoes don’t have to.
I’m paraphrasing three different medical professionals in orthopedics and physical therapy, “If you are in persistent pain for more than 3 days, you are causing damage to your body.” Damage causes injury and shortens/ ends careers.

Pain endurance is not the measure of achievement in a dancer, and I wish someone had shared that truth with me when I was a training dancer. I see how much passion and determination you have, it shows in your videos!

Absolutely this. Josephine will do online fittings if you reach out-- you don't even have to see her in person. In the case of this dancer, you can already see her vamp is wrong.

It doesn't have to be painful! At least not to a great degree! Be kind to your body and it will get you far :) Before I had to stop for health reasons, I'd been dancing on pointe shoes for almost 4 years (I got my shoes at 9-10 years old) and even while learning and flexing them, it never hurt too badly. Our teacher really emphasized good posture/technique so as long as our foot form was correct, even soft pads for the toes and sides wouldn't be necessary, though it's good to wear them. Take care of your feet and pay attention to using these shoes correctly and you will have very few issues! Unfortunately I don't know that you can fully avoid some pain or blisters, but it doesn't have to get really bad! :)

My feet usually don't hurt too much in pointe shoes, the pain becomes normalized when you practice a lot! It really hurts when I forget to clip my toenails tho!

I was started on pointe at 12.. my feet weren't finished ossifying . I now have severe bunions and they're very painful. My feet hurt all the time and they're getting so bad I can't wear certain types of shoes anymore, even though I haven't danced in 16 years. I'll have to have surgery absolutely.
Everybody should do their own thing of course, but starting pointe too early isn't recommended

Have you tried the perfect pointe molds? You can order online they are amazing. Basically it makes the weight on your toes equally distributed. If they work they sell a putty at craft stores that is the same and you can use old footed tights or very thin socks and a plastic like similar to what comes in the kit to make it for so much less money!

Idk how old she is but you shouldn’t be on point until your 11 or older. It doesn’t matter how good you are, it doesn’t matter how strong and you are, and it doesn’t matter how long u have been doing it. It’s about your bone development, it’s genuinely rly dangerous to be on point before your bones are developed.

I received the great news that I made it into the competitive dance team at my studio. I was so worried I wasn’t talented enough and that I wasn’t improving. My family has this wall of pictures and I see a little girl smiling in ballet class. That day an older girl who was en pointe taught me how to tie pointe shoes, and I watched the company dancers in class. I thought of the little girl who would freak out if she knew I was doing competitive dance, and because I only wanted to be a competitive dancer and fill my potential in dance to the fullest.
