Together, this dynamic trio has been raising the eyebrows of those classical music fans (and fanatics) worldwide who love the effervescent charm of the ocarina.
Since its inception, St. Louis Ocarina Trio has attracted the eyes and ears of listeners worldwide, with a richly distinctive sound based on an ancient musical instrument that dates back over 12,000 years. The ocarina has been found among artifacts in ancient China and among the Mayans and Aztecs of the Mesoamerican period, making it one of the first musical instruments known to mankind. The ocarina is the distinguishing sound behind the group.
Each of these three group members brings a unique skill set, enabling the rapid and increasing popularity of the St. Louis Ocarina Trio within the genre of classical music. The trio has created five CDs to date, and have received award-winning accolades for their unique mlange of music. Some of their songs have been used in movies, films and on radio shows, as well as group performances and concerts statewide. Followers on YouTube and multimedia sites have been increasing daily. In addition to entertaining, each of the three group members are devoted to teaching their beloved craft and are music instructors at the St. Louis School of Music, with Dennis being the director.
Their aspirations of bringing the ocarina to the wider population grows every day, as each gifted musician continues to master the craft of playing this truly magical instrument.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
The St. Louis Ocarina Trio Lyrics
Hark! the herald angels sing,
‘Glory to the newborn King: peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!’ Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
join the triumph of the skies; with th’angelic hosts proclaim,
‘Christ is born in Bethlehem!’ Hark! the herald angels sing,
‘Glory to the newborn King.’
Christ, by highest heaven adored, Christ, the everlasting Lord,
late in time behold him come, offspring of a virgin’s womb: veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail th’incarnate Deity,
pleased as man with man to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!Hail the Sun of Righteousness!Light and life to all he brings,
risen with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by,
born that man no more may die, born to raise the sons of earth,
born to give us second birth.
