To this day, they continue to tour rapidly all over the world, even with Rat splitting his time between them and Discharge. They shared a headlining spot with such acts as Broken Bones, The Adicts, Vice Squad and GBH at the ill-fated British Invasion 2k6 concert festival in San Bernardino, California which ended in mass-rioting and alleged police brutality.
They are currently writing new material for a new album to be released in the near future.

In the song "Protest and Survive" by The Varukers, the lyrics depict the angst and frustration of individuals who do not want to be caught in the crosshairs of government wars and violence. The repeated chorus of "Protest, Protest, Survive" highlights the importance of activism in times of danger and insecurity. The lyrics also express a strong desire for a more peaceful society, where bombs and violence do not claim innocent lives.
The phrase "I won't let it pass me by, I don't wanna fucking die" encapsulates a sense of urgency and determination to fight against injustice and violence. The lyrics suggest a call to action for individuals to actively resist oppressive systems and institutions through peaceful protest and advocacy. The use of profanity in the lyrics also adds to the raw emotion and frustration that the singer feels about the state of society.

CRAIG QUESTIONS
@DailyBrusher
You will definitely want to check out the band Discharge, friends of the Varukers. Their most important album is "Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing." Also, I'd recommend Adrenalin O.D., their album "The Wacky Hijinks of Adrenalin OD." You might also appreciate the Avengers (from San Francisco) and the Sex Pistols. Finally, the precursers of punk were as good or better than actual punk - Iggy and the Stooges, and The New York Dolls. You can hear all of that stuff on YouTube!
