There for Tomorrow was a band from Orlando, Florida that combines alternative rock/post-hardcore music with adrenaline filled lyrics. Featured members are Maika Maile (rhythm guitar/lead vocals), Christian Climer (lead guitar/backing vocals), Jay Enriquez (bass/backing vocals), and Chris Kamrada (drums). They were signed to Hopeless/Sub City Records until 2013 .
There for Tomorrow formed in 2003 at a time when all of its members were teenagers (although Christian Climer did not join the band until 2006). They were originally called The Kick Off, but changed their name after playing numerous local shows. The band's debut album Point of Origin was released on 30 April 2004. They began playing local radio station showcase concerts, which led to stints on the southeastern leg of the Vans Warped Tour in 2006 and 2007. After the tour, they met with James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore), who produced their 2007 Pages EP, which attracted the attention of the alternative rock label Hopeless Records. He returned to produce their self titled EP, released on 5 August 2008, featuring the first single "No More Room to Breathe." Just over three months later, the band won the MTVU Woodie Award for breakout artist of the year, beating established acts such as All Time Low and We the Kings.
In February 2009, the band joined We the Kings with other bands on the Secret Valentine Tour. They also played on the 2009 Warped Tour. A Little Faster, There for Tomorrow's debut full-length album on Hopeless Records, was released on 9 June 2009.
Their third full-length studio album, The Verge, was released on June 28, 2011.
Their self released EP Nightscape was released on October 21, 2014.
The group is influenced by bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Third Eye Blind, and The Hives.
On November 19, the band posted a statement on Facebook, officially announcing the end of the band. They played their farewell shows during December 2014.

That stepping in and out won't bring you down
Until you make it definite
6:15 sacrifice your rest
I thought you said you're different?
From those who believe in it
They believe (in Universities)
For doing nothing more than all you see
They've got no more room to breathe
Until we just get them to
Say we'll make them say
That we've been down and out all day
If your education brings you home
Why are you still away?
So give it up if you're not still trying to
Hold it up in your four-time windowed room
I've got the feeling that you're not
Using up all of your best bets
On plans that you still don't have set
For those who believe in it
They believe,
Until we just get them to
Say we'll make them say
That we've been down and out all day
If your education brings you home
Why are you still away?
See we'll make them see
That we've got no more room to breathe
If your education brings you home
Why are you still away?
I gave it all the thought you said you needed
But the minutes got repeated for too long
Far too long
Can you save us all from the thought you said you needed
'Cause I feel like I've competed for too long
Far too long
We've got no more room to breathe
Until we just get them to see
We've got no more room to breathe
Until we just get them to
Say we'll make them say
That we've been down and out all day
If your education brings you home
Why are you still away?
See we'll make them see
That we've got no more room to breathe
If your education brings you home
Why are you still away
The song, "No More Room To Breathe" by There for Tomorrow, addresses the issue of feeling limited by societal expectations and the pressure to conform. The opening lyrics suggest that simply going through the motions of life won't bring one down until they make a definitive decision to change. The following lines speak about sacrificing rest and questioning why someone who claimed to be different is still participating in the same institutions as those who conform to societal expectations (Universities).
The chorus calls for action, urging the listener to make a change, and questioning why they are still away despite being educated. The bridge expresses frustration with repeating the same thought process and feeling like they have been competing for too long. The final chorus intensifies, emphasizing the need for action to create space to breathe until others can see that change is necessary.
The song ultimately encourages listeners to break free from limiting societal pressures and take action towards a more fulfilling life.

You've got to know by now
You should already understand
That stepping in and out won't bring you down
Going through phases of interest won't harm you
Until you make it definite
Until you commit
6:15 sacrifice your rest
Wake up early and give up sleep
I thought you said you're different?
I thought you claimed to be unique
From those who believe in it
From those who believe in universities
Oh, not another mind made up
Oh, another person with a closed mind
For doing nothing more than all you see
For not doing anything beyond what you observe
They've got no more room to breathe
They can't handle any more pressure
Say we'll make them say
Let's convince them to agree
If your education brings you home
If your learning makes you return
Why are you still away?
Why aren't you taking action?
So give it up if you're not still trying to
Quit if you're not still making an effort to
Hold it up in your four-time windowed room
Keep trying in your limited space
I've got the feeling that you're not
I don't think you're
Using up all of your best bets
Using all of your best options
On plans that you still don't have set
On undefined plans
They believe,
They believe in universities
See we'll make them see
Let's make them understand
I gave it all the thought you said you needed
I considered everything you requested
But the minutes got repeated for too long
But the time passed without progress for too long
Can you save us all from the thought you said you needed
Can you rescue us from the thoughts you claimed we needed
'Cause I feel like I've competed for too long
Because I feel like I've struggled for too long
We've got no more room to breathe
We can't tolerate any more pressure
Until we just get them to see
Until we help them understand
