Geni Kameni
Thompson Lyrics

Sveta voda i krtenje.
Budi čovik to je dika,
Budi roda svoga slika.
Ne daj na se, ne daj svoje,
Nemoj tuđe, prokleto je.
Jer 'ko ivot tako prođe,
Gdje god da te ivot nosi,
Uvik mora znati ko si, hej.
Geni, geni kameni,
Vatra gori u meni!
Geni, geni kameni,
Takvi smo mi rođeni!
Uzmi ili ostavi.
Loa bila četr'es' peta,
Rasula nas preko svijeta.
A sad nova loza raste,
Vratile se doma laste
Plave krvi, bijelog lica
Rađaju se nova dica.
Na kamenu ka' na svili,
Di oduvik mi smo bili
The lyrics of Thompson's song "Geni Kameni" speak to the importance of having a strong and honest character, being true to oneself, and valuing one's own heritage and roots above all else. The opening lines speak of the importance of a firm hand and honesty, as well as the symbolic significance of baptism and holy water. The song then goes on to encourage listeners to be proud of who they are, not to give up their own beliefs or values for anything, and to live a life that will make them proud to stand before God one day. The chorus speaks to the unquenchable fire and passion that burns within every person, symbolic of the eternal flame of identity and the unique traits passed down through family lines. The final stanza speaks of the trials and tribulations faced by previous generations, leading to a scattering of family lines across the world. However, the new generation is rising, and with blue-blooded heritage and determined spirits, they will rebuild and flourish just as their ancestors did before them.
