From there, the band would continue to rise in the charts. In 2007, they released their fifth full-length, The Flame in All of Us, which was produced by Ken Andrews (Beck, Chris Cornell, Pete Yorn). Arriving in 2009, the aggressive Welcome to the Masquerade, which would be the band's last release with Tooth & Nail, entered the Billboard Top 200 at number 35, peaking at number two on the Christian rock chart. It was their most successful album to date and would spawn the band's first live album, Live at the Masquerade. The group's next studio album, The End Is Where We Begin, was issued in 2012. It was their first album released entirely independently. Continuing the upward chart trajectory with each subsequent release, The End debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200, and claimed the top spots on both the hard rock and Christian charts. In late 2013, the band released Made in Canada: The 1998-2010 Collection, which included two new tracks. Thousand Foot Krutch remained independent into 2014, relying on crowd-sourcing for the release of the energetic Oxygen: Inhale, the first part of a pair of hard rock chart-topping LPs. The heavier Exhale followed in 2016, marking TFK's third consecutive Christian number one.

Where our pain is washed away
With no room for all the torment
Of choices that we've made
I'm a broken man saved by grace
Tossed alone inside this maze
And I am just a question
To the answer you convey
You've been all the way to broken
Lost your sense of where to go
Your love is still the answer
More than hate will ever know
It's not too late to be rescued
Not too late to let it go
Remember, pain is just an anchor
You never had control of
You give us life and meaning
You give us hope, so
If I can be honest
How come I always break my promises to you?
If I'm not afraid, why am I so scared to move?
I'm barely breathing
And if I can be honest
How come I always end up so far away from you?
You made me a promise
And I'll always hold it true
I believe Heaven is a place where
We'll walk the streets of gold
She's seen nothing but the concrete
Yeah, the world has left her cold
She's been beaten, bruised, and broken
She's felt pain instead of love
Inside, she was an angel
But she never knew she was
You've been all the way to broken
Lost your sense of where to go
Your love is still the answer
More than hate will ever know
It's not too late to be rescued
Not too late to let it go
Remember, pain is just an anchor
You never had control of
You give us life and meaning
You give us hope, so
If I can be honest
How come I always break my promises to you?
If I'm not afraid, why am I so scared to move?
I'm barely breathing
And if I can be honest
How come I always end up so far away from you?
You made me a promise
And I'll always hold it true
(Always hold it true)
If I can be honest
How come I always break my promises to you?
If I'm not afraid, why am I so scared to move?
I'm barely breathing
And if I can be honest
How come I always end up so far away from you
You made me a promise
And I'll always hold it true
(Always hold it true)
The song 'Honest' by Thousand_Foot_Krutch reflects on a person's relationship with God. The lyrics suggest that Heaven is a place where pain and suffering are erased, and people are free from the consequences of their choices. The singer recognizes himself as a broken man who has been saved by grace and is currently lost in a maze. He seeks answers and assurance from God, someone who knows the path and destination. He acknowledges his flaws and inability to keep his promises to God. The singer also recognizes that there are others in the world who feel beaten, bruised, and broken, like the woman who has felt pain rather than love. He believes God's love is the answer to overcome hate and pain. He emphasizes that it's never too late to be rescued from one's struggles and let go of the pain that anchors them down.
The song conveys a message about hope, redemption, and love. The singer finds solace in the belief that God's promises are always true, and He gives meaning to life. The song encourages listeners to look to God for guidance, healing, and help during difficult times. It recognizes that everyone has flaws and will fall short, but promises forgiveness and love are true. The last line, "I'll always hold it true" reinforces the idea of loyalty and faith to God's promise.

They've been a band for roughly as long as I've been alive. Though I think Trevor is the only original member left, and they haven't put out anything new since this album.

Thousand Foot Krutch you were the favorite band of my fiance. He always used to send me songs from you guys. "Set me on fire" was his favorite and he was always sharing it. He died 5 months ago..... And this really seems like something that he would say to me, right now. He was my best friend and my greatest love. Thanks guys for this song....
