From there, the band would continue to rise in the charts. In 2007, they released their fifth full-length, The Flame in All of Us, which was produced by Ken Andrews (Beck, Chris Cornell, Pete Yorn). Arriving in 2009, the aggressive Welcome to the Masquerade, which would be the band's last release with Tooth & Nail, entered the Billboard Top 200 at number 35, peaking at number two on the Christian rock chart. It was their most successful album to date and would spawn the band's first live album, Live at the Masquerade. The group's next studio album, The End Is Where We Begin, was issued in 2012. It was their first album released entirely independently. Continuing the upward chart trajectory with each subsequent release, The End debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200, and claimed the top spots on both the hard rock and Christian charts. In late 2013, the band released Made in Canada: The 1998-2010 Collection, which included two new tracks. Thousand Foot Krutch remained independent into 2014, relying on crowd-sourcing for the release of the energetic Oxygen: Inhale, the first part of a pair of hard rock chart-topping LPs. The heavier Exhale followed in 2016, marking TFK's third consecutive Christian number one.

Can ya feel me?
To those who live under the street lights at night,
Can ya feel me?
Come on and check this out,
We bout to set this off
Here come the drums
I come out blazin',
I maintain mannin' all stations,
Fully prepared for all situations,
We blow tracks like shrapnel, with the rap skill,
Shoot to kill, not for thrills, I got an iron grip.
That's the sound we make, no mistake keep the floor warm,
From town to town and state to state,
And yo, we rock da set like an earthquake
Hold it tight too, and too, I just saw,
Strapped to my knife boots..
We bump tracks like a fifteens the flavors me,
And chill like light when it flows through my brain stream,
Ready to fit the script twice when I get nice,
Equally precise, hits you open like head lice,
This time around we're here to let it be known,
Thousand Foot be the kings of this microphone,
This time around we're hear to let it be known,
Thousand Foot be the kings of this microphone now
Out to all the people in the house tonight,
We're gonna keep on rockin' 'till the broad daylight,
So just listen to the sounds comin' through this mic,
We're gonna do this right, do this right.
Set it off!!
Just set it off, right!
Set it off,
Just set it off, right! Come on!
Set it off,
We just set it off, right!
Set it off!
We just set off, right!
(Play it for yah radio)
Fire it up like NASA,
Rockin' it to your, ghetto blaster,
You're quick we're faster,
We got the skills to out last ya,
My mentality stays open,
And if everything's cool,
I'm hopin',
To leave this microphone smokin'
Hope your ready,
My whole team can rock steady,
Makin' noise with my boys,
And watchin' out for poison,
My main objective is to stand for what I believe,
Maybe hear the sounds of the guillotine,
We drop, hit, electrify,
And to all the weak minded till the next in line,
Here we made it in our accord,
Ready to spawn,
Used to go on and on,
But now we just drop bombs,
This time around we're here to let it be known,
Thousand Foot be the kings of this microphone,
This time around we're hear to let it be known,
Thousand Foot be the kings of this microphone now
Out to all the people in the house tonight,
We're gonna keep on rockin' 'till the broad daylight,
So just listen to the sounds comin' through this mic,
We're gonna do this right, do this right.
Set it off!!
Just set it off, right!
Set it off,
Just set it off, right! Come on!
Set it off,
We just set it off, right!
Set it off!
We just set off, right!
(Play it for yah radio)
Just keep on rockin' and don't stop,
Keep rockin' and don't stop
Just keep on rockin' and don't stop,
Keep rockin' and don't stop
Just keep on rockin' and don't stop,
Keep rockin' and don't stop
Just keep on rockin' and don't stop,
Keep rockin' and don't stop
The opening lines invite two types of people to feel the music - those who are present in the house and those who live under street lights at night. The band calls out to the crowd to check out what they have to offer before launching into their performance. There is a sense of confidence and aggression in the lyrics as the lead singer talks about how he comes out blazing and is fully prepared for any situation. He compares his rap skill to shrapnel that blows tracks away, while at the same time, he emphasizes that he is not doing it for thrills but to make an impact. He compares his music to an earthquake, holding the crowd tight from town to town and state to state.
The chorus is a repetition of a call to action, asking people to set it off with their music by playing it on the radio or through their ghetto blaster. There is a message of perseverance and staying true to oneself, standing for what one believes in and outlasting challenges with the help of supportive friends. The song is about the band's confidence and desire to make a mark in the music industry while at the same time being aware of the struggle and hardships that come with it.
