But the closer I get it starts to unfold
I'm getting closer, and it feels alright
I'm diving deeper, into your eyes
And I would do my best not to crash
So crazy how i know you got my back
I'm leaning forward, I'll take the lead
As I'm calling form afar
Diving faster than a shooting star
I'm falling hard right into your arms
I know that you will break my fall
And it feels so good, knowing that you
Will be my parachute
All is blue, but when i close my eyes
I discover fears that's hidden deep inside
I wanna go back, but it's too late
Unless the wind will change
It'll slow my pains
As I'm calling form afar
Diving faster than a shooting star
I'm falling hard right into your arms
I know that you will break my fall
And it feels so good, knowing that you
Will be my parachute
I'm never scared of flying
This time i feel like dying
I'm almost there
I'm getting close
I travel far
Just to get on to you, you oh
As I'm calling form afar
Diving faster than a shooting star
I'm falling hard right into your arms
I know that you will break my fall
And it feels so good, knowing that you
Will be my parachute
As I'm calling form afar
Diving faster than a shooting star
I'm falling hard right into your arms
I know that you will break my fall
And it feels so good, knowing that you
Will be my parachute
The opening lines of the song "Parachute" talk about the perspective from above, where everything appears small, but as one gets closer, things start to become clearer. The song seems to be about a person falling in love and taking a risk on that love. The lyrics say, "I'm getting closer, and it feels alright. I'm diving deeper, into your eyes. And I would do my best not to crash. So crazy how I know you got my back." It is not clear what happened before the moment when the singer is falling in love, but we do know that there are fears that are hidden deep inside her, and she wants to go back, but it is too late.
It's interesting that the song specifically mentions a parachute. The song's title and the repeated use of the word "parachute" might suggest a fear of falling down or losing control, but the singer trusts the person she's in love with to be her anchor and break her fall. Towards the end of the song, she says, "I'm never scared of flying. This time I feel like dying. I'm almost there. I'm getting close." This could imply that she has taken risks before but has never been in a love this strong before.
Overall, the song "Parachute" seems to be about the fear of falling in love and taking risks that come with it. The singer acknowledges that love can be scary, but ultimately trusts the person she's in love with to be there for her when she falls.
