After 'RENT', Vincent was off to London after being cast in a cutting-edge film of 'Jesus Christ Superstar;. Vincent later returned to New York to appear in the Broadway revival of "Superstar". As the lead role of Judas Iscariot. After a successful broadway run, Vincent started development work for a new record spending considerable time collaborating with other writer-producers in Los Angeles, New York, Woodstock, Sweden, and London.
While taking time to write in London, Vincent was invited to audition for Brian May, Roger Taylor and Ben Elton. Vincent was cast as the lead role of Galileo Gigaro in the notorious rock band, Queen's world premiere production of 'WE WILL ROCK YOU'. Vincent spent two years with the show playing to sold-out audiences at nearly every performance. Once 'WE WILL ROCK YOU' became a solid hit in London, producers invited Vincent to open the first American company in a new permanent theater at the Paris, Las Vegas Resort.
Later, in 2010, Vincent joined Broadway once again in the Tony Award Winning musical production of American Idiot. Based on the highly successful Grammy award winning album 'American Idiot' by Green Day. His performance of 'St. Jimmy', the drug addicted alter ego of 'Johnny/Jesus of Suburbia' got him nominated for the Drama League Award of 'Distinguished Performance' and 'Favourite Performance by a Featured Actor in a Broadway Musical' by Broadway.com Audience Award. Vincent left the performance briefly from September 27, 2010 to October 3, 2010. Then completely leaving the production in January 2011.
Now in 2012, Vincent is staring on the hit show, 'The Voice'. A show much like 'American Idol' but focusing completely on the singer's voice instead of looks as well. During the 'Blind auditions' (the judges were to turn around while the singer performed), Vincent chose 'We Are the Champions. And was chosen to be worked with by the extremely talented artist Cee Lo Green who is famous for his song 'Forget You (F*** You)' and 'Crazy'. The show is currently still in production.

Tony Vincent Lyrics

Far beyond your years
Try to take a stand
Holding all command
Empty souls
Remain in control
Outward beauty here
Still it's all you know
Losing their appeals
Now your pallet's changed
Look for other meals
Production short
Take it all to count
Wanting victory
But you come up short
Responsibility is not a word you want to hear or read
When will priorities change
Associations, proclamations, giving ways to rule the nations
But while convincing and evincing
We're leaving out the one we've been missing
You're always talking loudly
You're only talking to yourself
You look inside for answers
When they'll be found in someone else
Do you hear what I'm speaking
Or am I talking to myself
I never caught the vision
Until I looked high
Tradition's views
Causing you to lose
In the other ones
Still you've one to choose
The time is near
For a tried career
Invest in truth
While the pictures clear
What is the plan, stan, to make a boy into a man
When will our attitude change-change
This universal, controversial, message plays a fine rehearsal
But we invent a monument
Instead of showing what he meant
Tony Vincent's song High is a powerful and poetic commentary on the emptiness and confusion of modern life. The lyrics begin with an image of tears and age: "Hiding tears / Far beyond your years." This line sets the tone for the rest of the song, which is driven by a deep sense of existential pain and longing. The song's central theme is the struggle to find meaning in a world that seems devoid of it. The singer urges the listener to take a stand and hold command, but notes that this is difficult in a culture where empty souls remain in control.
The song is critical of consumer culture, noting that "market deals / Losing their appeals / Now your pallet's changed / Look for other meals." The singer is urging the listener to seek something real and genuine, rather than chasing after the latest trend or fad. The song also touches on the idea of responsibility, noting that it is not a word that people want to hear or read. The singer is asking when our priorities will change and when we will truly invest in truth.
The chorus of the song is a meditation on communication and connection. The singer notes that people often talk loudly without really listening to each other: "You're always talking loudly / You're only talking to yourself / You look inside for answers / When they'll be found in someone else." The singer is urging the listener to open themselves up to the wisdom and insight of others, rather than relying solely on their own perspective.
Overall, Tony Vincent's song High is a powerful and poignant commentary on the difficulties of modern life. The song is a call to action, urging listeners to seek out deeper meaning and connection in a world that often feels cold and empty.
