Do you know that YouTube nerfs uploads? You've never seen a video on YouTube @ higher than 720p.

Downloading/watching 1080p on YouTube is anagolus to hiring Steven Spieberg to make your channel intro. It makes you feel good but doesn't make any difference in the real world.

4Greyhounds Maybe I'm blind, but when I change a video from 720p to 1080p it ALWAYS looks better. It even looks better when I change it to 4k on a 1080p monitor.

this design is pretty simple... sand on both sides of cacti in a checkerboard type of grid so the cacti break as soon as it grows. water slide catches it and takes it away

Hey Mumbo! I love the whole Too Small series but I feel like it isn't really the same concept anymore, at first the builds were things that literally needed to be huge to work, and now they're just a lot of small modular parts all together

Using lots of minecarts with hoppers on the same rail is faster than using hoppers ! :)

Change the tick speed to 10000, then every cacti in the farm will grow multiples times pet second

Any idea how quick it takes for it to travel to the collection? The server I play on has a 1 min for items despawning.

so simple and so effective the only thing is that its not possible in vanilla without a slight change... ..theres nothing under the sand just add something under it and lower everything then your all good

IMPORTANT!!!!
For anyone thinking of building this cactus farm: This will break in 1.8, so dont build one with this design if you want to keep it. (It will break as soon as a cactus grows even if you built it pre 1.8).
(Upvote if this warning helped you before spent a lot of time building one)

Pretty simple design, Not the most efficient though. Fences are around 3x more efficient than this design. And if put to the same scale would have around 4x the production of this farm

This is Sethblings design he used it on the mindcrack server and made a giant cactus around it and then, some months later they blew it up again :)

I have some concerns:
What if my world gets overrun and taken over by cacti? And what will happen then? Will we be trapped in a world of deadly plants? Will we suffer the wrath of those green, spiked monsters? I'd like my cactuseses contained, thank you.

You can have a lava pit at the collection area and some upside down stairs so when you want cacti you could walke up to the stairs and get the cacti.

this is purely GIANORMOUS! okay, so mumbo, i did some counting and i saw each one of those four cubes have 30 rows of 31 columns, did i count it right? alsoi i counted the height, and each line has 12 levels (not including the top sand), is this correct? thnx for anyone who answers this question :)

Not that big. I have a 32x32 void to sky cactus farm and that's small compared to the one someone else did which is 64x64 void to sky. And this is in a skyblock server.

Would this be possible?:

You're at your home, and you have an empty minecart w/ hopper. You push a button to send it down all the way to your cactus farm. The minecart w/ hopper sits by your chest for about a minute, before being sent on its way back home. You come back to your house, and it's back home, all filled up.

Here's my question: will a minecart w/ hopper take the items out of a chest/hopper to actually make this work? Please respond, and thanks!

I wouldn't go that far to say that it is bad for your computer. It just runs full power. If your pc makes funny noises at full power, I'd check the fans in the pc and clean or change them if necessary...

You could still add some more. But you must remain in a certain chunk radius, otherwise large pieces of the farm won't even load
