The Fall
Torul Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
This night is so viciously dark and the moon is dead
I don't know where I'm headed at all, again
And my legs are sinking deep in the ground so it's
Hard to move at all
I feel extremely uncomfortable
I feel as sick as a dog crawling
And I'm fall, fall, fall, fall, falling down
This is the fall, fall, fall, fall, falling!
And I'm fall, fall, fall, fall, falling down
Questions to answers that seem like some random words
And so little content comes out of your mouth these days
I'm dead in the city this night and I'm drinking the pain away
It feels just nothing like it should
I feel as sick as a sick dog crawling
The song "The Fall" by Torul is a hauntingly beautiful piece of art. The singer begins with the imagery of stumbling across fields on a dark and moonless night. She doesn't know where she's headed, but her legs are sinking deep into the ground, making it hard to move. The lyrics are imbued with a sense of unease and impending doom. She feels extremely uncomfortable, as though something bad is going to happen. The chorus repeats the phrase "this is the fall, fall, fall, fall, falling" which suggests a sense of falling into a place of darkness, both physically and emotionally.
The second verse talks about the frustration of trying to communicate with someone who is unable to provide any meaningful answers. The singer is "dead in the city this night" and is drinking to numb the pain. The contrast between the peacefulness of the fields in the first verse and the chaos and confusion of the city in the second helps to create a sense of turmoil and unease.
The overall message of the song is unclear, but it seems to be about the feeling of falling into a dark place, both physically and emotionally. The imagery of sinking legs and random words that don't provide answers adds to the sense of confusion and desperation. The music and lyrics work together to create a haunting and beautiful piece of art.

it's VERY rare for a band of this style to not be from Germany. Go Slovenia!

Yo pensaba lo mismo ...😂😂Yo pensé que era una banda Alemana .Tiene algo que ver con Diorma que es una banda Alemana algunos temas ,incluso el cantante tiene un aire a cuando Torben era más joven 🤪
