Her influences were Chaka Khan, but she had a style and grace all her own. She gave her all in her live performances and was a true professional. She, like the other band members, moved on to record elsewere. We miss her dearly.

Did a taste test years ago with a friend with three brands. 1st, Nathan's, 2nd, surprisingly-Dodger Dogs. 3rd, Ball Park. For me, it's been Nathen's ever since. Of oourse, everyone has their own taste buds. So, just cook them the way you like.

I have grown to very much appreciate a quality, all-beef, kosher dogs. Any other combo-meat franks are just garbage in taste and texture. Chicago style dogs traditionally are simmered forever....skip that and grill 'em!!

Deep fried makes them nice and snappy

Nathan’s are the beginning and the end. It’s all I eat and all I want to eat.

Never knew people didn't clean and grease first. That just seems like common sense. Other than that a damned near burnt hot dog is super delicious!

Eating some right now 😋

Come on people, all these pre steps before grilling (heating, cleaning, oiling) should be done whenever grilling anything, not just hotdogs.

Hot dogs are already a cooked product; all you are doing it reheating them. This can be done however you want. You can boil, fry, grill, even microwave them. Burnt dogs is subjective. Like burnt bits of pizza crust, it can taste good.
Personally, I prefer natural casing hot dogs. They have a “snap” that skinless dogs lack.
