I once spent 21 minutes in a legend lost sector(was trying a build I will never use again), didn’t kill all the champions, but still got my first Athry’s. I was completely astonished. I was also very under light which is also why it took awhile

This is a cool little trick and I'm sure it will help a lot of people out. I like to do whatever the daily is regardless of the sector just so I can use different loadouts.. I like making them hard and doing the flawless runs. But ty for the info!

I just did this on accident and got an Athrys's when I was going for Omnioculous, got the Omniocuolous right after then, reset happened and I got Bakris. I had none of them and it was my first time doing legend lost sectors.

@Lucas C. the ONLY reason Bungie decided to "let us have fun" with the 12 person glitch was to save face. by posting that response they appear as the good guy's instead of getting mad at everyone for their oversight and shut the game down for a while whilst fixing their mistake- that was their 2 options. they would've lost tons of money with option 2, so it's not that they "like" fun they just love money more than the people giving them money.

@Lucas C. nah man Bungie hates fun. they love extending the goal posts infinity and having us grind into oblivion. this is honestly how it should work so people can actually obtain the gear they're looking for instead of waiting for the RNG of when it drops then the RNG of if it's a high roll then the RNG of if it's a good roll... this game is far far too grindy

So I've ran Veles Labyrinth 20 times in a row in the last hour or so, and gotten one enhancement core and a bunch of legendaries. Definitely getting all the champions, so I don't know what the deal is with this.

For people who want to speedfarm legend veles labyrinth here’s my guide for 1:20-1:35 runs:
Stasis warlock/stasis hunter/ stasis titan( have whisper of impetus+hedrons and coldsnap nade).
Seventh seraph hc / salvagers salvo / arc rocket BOTH WITH MAJOR SPEC this is important later (pref europa rocket with chain reaction cuz of innate tracking).
Transversive / dragon’s shadow / w/e titan
Pref mods: argent ordnance, blast radius, global reach, protective light.
Start by killing the 4 thralls with the hand cannon and 1 more thrall that rushes in the tunnel for a warmind cell room wipe, rocket to kill the champion. Jump on the stairs and coldsnap the barrier on the catwalk. 1 rocket 1 salvo should kill him. 1 salvo for the thrall before the ogre, kill the ogre(unstop hc for stun). 1 rocket and 2 direct salvo hits in thar order on wizard ( she will get staggered by the first salvo shot so ez second) !the wizard will not die from this combo unless you have major spec on both weapons! Jump near the chest, get a freeze for bonus dmg, 2 rockets should kill the boss. There you go 1:30 min run sector ez.

A WARNING TO PLAYERS TRYING THIS TECHNIQUE: This did not work for me. I went and farmed lost sectors and got 2 exotic engrams from the chest at the end. The next day after reset, I decrypted them hoping to get a Mask of Bakris, as that was the master reward for the day, and instead got an Ophidia Spathe chest and Young Ahamkara's Spine gauntlets. I'm not sure how, it seems like this strategy works for other users like Fallout and obviously the reddit user who discovered it, but it seems to work inconstantly

edit: i was informed of this way of acquiring exotics before this video went up

Wow!! Thats also a super method to becoming max light. Save 4 armour pieces on the 1330. Open 1 engram up each day(chest)(gauntlet)(helmet)(boots) boom done 1310

fastest veles run I got during that season was 1:14, and that was back when I didn't have wrath of rasputin - prob could have gotten 1:10 if I did have that mod.

Just practice. I’ve got it down to sub 4min runs. Easiest on stasis warlock with ikelos sub overload, a sniper and lament. Second is solar bottom titan. Both super easy. The 1330 can be tricky tho. Extra champs fuck shit up.use warmind cells and add the dmg de buff with swords.

So did this method got 3. Decoded the engrams today when the reward should be helms but got 3 chests which was the reward yesterday. Not sure if I mucked up the steps or this has been subtlety fixed??
Edit: I screwed up its master chest rewards today 😐

pretty sure you can skip the unstoppable ogies (by not making them spawn) when you jump up using after the first barrier in veles. that'd shave off an extra minute. saw jez doing it in his stream 2 weeks ago.

Another thing you could do is farm exotics before a new season/expansion drops then decrypt them when the season/expansion drops and get the new exotic armor, and skip having to farm power levels (well for expansions specifically since seasons only go up by 10 now)

Pretty sure they patched that already. Used to do this, but now light level is encoded in the engram, so no quick bumps. Pretty sure it’s encoded from that seasons loot pool as well. That’s also why they have the tower vendors drop low gear now.
