Los Panchos reached fame internationally with their romantic songs, especially in Latin America, where they are still regarded as one of the top trios of all time. They sold millions of album copies within a few years of being founded.
Julito Rodriguez joined the group in 1952; he was replaced by Johnny Albino in 1958.
The Albino era was one of the most prosperous ones for Los Panchos, as Albino proved to be a very popular singer among Los Panchos fans for ten years. His departure in 1968 was a tumultuous one, as he did not leave on good terms with the group's management.
Los Panchos still continue to perform concerts across Puerto Rico, the United States and Latin America, with a newer cast of singers.

Ya no debo pensar que te ame
Es preferible olvidar que sufri
No...
No concibo que todo acabo
Que este sueño de amor termino
Que la vida nos separo
Sin querer
Esta es la ruta que estaba marcada
Sigo insitiendo en tu amor
Que se perdio en la nada
Ay vivo caminando
Sin saber
Donde llegar
Tal vez
Caminando la vida nos vuelva a juntar
No, no no
No...
Ya no debo pensar que te ame
Es preferible olvidar que sufri
No...
No concibo que todo acabo
Que este sueño de amor termino
Que la vida nos separo
Sin querer
Caminemos tal vez nos veremos despues
In Trio Los Panchos's song Caminemos, the singer is coming to terms with the end of a romantic relationship. The first stanza expresses a desire to forget the pain of losing the relationship and move on. Despite this resolve, the singer still can't believe that everything has ended and that life has separated them. The final lines, "Caminemos tal vez nos veremos después" ("Let's walk, maybe we'll see each other again"), suggest that the singer still hopes to reconcile with their former lover, even as they try to move on.
The second stanza continues this theme of separation and lost love, with the singer "insisting on [their former lover's] love" that has "disappeared into nothingness." The singer continues down a path without knowing where it will lead, but hoping that they might be reunited in the future. The repetition of "No, no, no" throughout the song underscores the singer's struggle to accept the end of the relationship.
Overall, Caminemos is a poignant reflection on the end of a romantic relationship, with Trio Los Panchos using simple yet effective lyrics to convey the singer's emotions. The song is a popular example of the bolero genre, which originated in Cuba in the late 19th century and gained widespread popularity throughout Latin America in the 20th century.
