Surrender
Trixter Lyrics

Echo through this lonely room
Just a photograph and dreams
That won't come true
I'll never know why I left you
Standin' in the rain
Cryin' tears of emptyness
All I wanted was to love you
Never wanted to see you cry
All I need is just to hold you
I just can't say - Goodbye
Sometimes we raise our guns of pain
But I'll be your defender
'Cause if love means war
Baby I surrender
You use words as weapons
I use love as a shield
So tell me why
Are we on this battlefield
In a blaze of glory
Can we rise above these flames
In a world of anger
There's got to be a way
Sometimes we raise our guns of pain
But I'll be your defender
'Cause if love means was
Baby I surrender
We're just soldiers from the heart
And I ain't no pretender
So lay down your arms
And baby let's surrender
And thought my aim is true
I sometimes miss the mark
Ooh, in matters of the heart
But I'd give my life tonight
To hold you in my arms
In a blaze of glory
Can we rise above these flames
In a world of anger
There's got to be a way
I just wanna hold you
Surrender
I just wanna love you
Surrender
I never meant to make you cry
Sometimes we raise our guns of pain
But I'll be your defender
'Cause if love means war
Baby I surrender
We're just soldiers of from the heart
And I ain't no pretender
So lay down you arms
And baby let's surrender
The lyrics to Trixter's song Surrender depict the aftermath of a relationship that has ended badly. The singer is haunted by the memories of a lost love and is filled with regret over the pain that he has caused. The opening lines of the song set the somber tone, describing a room filled with only silence and an old photograph. The lyrics paint a picture of a breakup that was abrupt and painful, leaving the singer with a sense of loss and emptiness.
Throughout the song, the singer reaches out to his lost love, expressing his desire to hold her once more and to make things right. He acknowledges that he made mistakes, but he wants to make amends and surrender himself to love. The chorus emphasizes that love is worth fighting for, even if it means laying down one's arms and surrendering to the passion and emotion that drives us all.
The final lines of the song speak to the power of love, and the willingness of the singer to do whatever it takes to be with the person he loves. The song ends on a hopeful note, suggesting that there is always a way to find love and happiness, even in a world filled with anger and pain.

Words of silence
There is nothing but silence in this place
Echo through this lonely room
It's so quiet here that any sound bounces back and fills the emptiness
Just a photograph and dreams
All I have of you is a memory and hopes that will never come true
That won't come true
I know deep down that all the things I hoped for with you will never happen
I'll never know why I left you
I don't understand why I ever walked away from you
Standin' in the rain
As you cried, stranded in the rain
Cryin' tears of emptyness
You were crying but I couldn't understand what was causing that pain in your soul
It's drivin' me insane
The fact that you're in agony while I can't do anything about it is making me lose my mind
All I wanted was to love you
My only desire was loving you wholeheartedly
Never wanted to see you cry
I never meant to hurt you or make you cry
All I need is just to hold you
All my heart desires now is to embrace you with my arms
I just can't say - Goodbye
I can't bear to let you go forever
Sometimes we raise our guns of pain
At times, we attack each other to inflict pain
But I'll be your defender
But I will protect you and never abandon you
'Cause if love means war
Even though love can be difficult and painful
Baby I surrender
I give up everything to be with you
You use words as weapons
Your words pierce my heart like a knife
I use love as a shield
But even though you hurt me, I choose to love you as a form of protection from this war
So tell me why
Why are we fighting and causing each other pain?
Are we on this battlefield
Why are we engaged in a war when we should be in love?
In a blaze of glory
With passion and intensity
Can we rise above these flames
Can we overcome this conflict?
In a world of anger
In a world full of hate and violence
There's got to be a way
There must be a better, more peaceful way to be together
We're just soldiers from the heart
We are simply two people fighting for love
And I ain't no pretender
And I'm not pretending, my love for you is real
So lay down your arms
So let go of our weapons and anger
And baby let's surrender
Let's give up fighting and find a way to be together
And thought my aim is true
Even though I try my best
I sometimes miss the mark
I still make mistakes
Ooh, in matters of the heart
When it comes to love
But I'd give my life tonight
I'd do anything, even put my own life on the line
To hold you in my arms
Just to hold you in my arms and never let you go
I just wanna hold you
All I want is to be intimate with you
I just wanna love you
And love you in the purest way possible
We're just soldiers of from the heart
We're only fighting for love's sake
So lay down you arms
Give up your weapons and fight for love instead
And baby let's surrender
And let love bring us together in peace and harmony
