Sorry was SPOKEN
I'm FALLING do
You ignore me before your leaving
EXPOSE my INSIDE to
You've been told
What you said but you didn't say anything
And I saw through the game
I'm never gonna play your game
And I saw through the game
Through the window seeing fear and doubt
SWELLING, I'm LOOSING again
This happen, feel my mind and self
SHATTER on MY PAST
-See
You've been told
What you said but you didn't say anything
And I saw through the game
I raise my own
I'm never gonna play your game
And I saw through the game
Focus, I see, actions, bind me
I am left to look at me
Turn away
There is nothing left to do on my own
Disregarding all the thoughts I have to
Fade of...
You've been told
What you said but you didn't say anything
And I saw through the game
I raise my own
I'm never gonna play your game
And I saw through the game
Focus,
I see,
Actions,
Bind me
In these lyrics, it appears that the singer is reflecting on a past event and expressing their feelings of being ignored and disregarded by someone important to them. The phrase "Looking backward before, sorry was spoken" suggests that there was a missed opportunity for an apology or resolution in the past. The singer feels like they are falling and being ignored, as if the other person is leaving without acknowledging their presence.
The line "EXPOSE my INSIDE to, you've been told" implies that the singer has been vulnerable and open with this person, possibly sharing their inner thoughts and emotions. However, despite this openness, the other person didn't say anything in response. It's as if they failed to acknowledge or understand the depth of what was being shared. The singer sees through the game being played and realizes that they won't participate in it anymore.
The lyrics also express a sense of frustration and despair. The phrase "Through the window seeing fear and doubt, SWELLING, I'm LOOSING [sic] again" conveys a feeling of being overwhelmed by negative emotions. The singer feels their mind and self-shattering due to past experiences. They may have been hurt or betrayed, causing them to question themselves and their actions.
The lines "Focus, I see, actions, bind me" suggest that the singer is trying to regain control and perspective. They are attempting to focus on their own actions and not be bound by the influence of others. There is a realization that they have to look inward and take responsibility for their own thoughts and choices rather than relying on someone else.
Ultimately, the lyrics convey a sense of empowerment and determination. The repeated phrase "I'm never gonna play your game" shows a refusal to engage in manipulative or harmful behavior. The singer has seen through the game being played and chooses to raise their own standards and not conform to others' expectations. They realize that they need to prioritize themselves and their own well-being, regardless of what others may say or expect from them.
