Above all now adays everyone's confused and distraught and everything's
So promising
Let down just stand on you're feet if you fall and have courage to walk again
Tomorrow we will talk about yesterday
Right now I got nuthin' to say honestly
Feel betrayed like my love was ripped outta me
The cycle is all to familiar to me
Long day
Feeling like I'm the only one running from someone
I can't seem to get away
Trapped now
Hidding away from the world with eye's closed and pretending
I'm dead today
Shadows
Shadows scarpe across the floor as I wait for the sun to return to me
Tomorrow we will talk about yesterday
Right now I got nuthin' to say honestly
Feel betrayed like my love was ripped outta me
The cycle is all to familiar to me
The cycle is all to familiar to me
My eye's don't see... nuthing but greed you're life your hate! broken trown away
My eye's still glow these feeling's come and go you're life jealousy these things
Should cease to be my apologese when you think of me will you over look all that
I've come to be we can find a way we can make it trough can we shake
This pain that has this hold on you! ?
Hold on you
Hold on you
Tomorrow we will talk about yesterday
Right now I got nuthin' to say honestly
Feel betrayed like my love was ripped outta me
The cycle is all to fimiliar to me
The cycle is all to fimiliar to me
The cycle is all to fimiliar to me
The cycle is all to fimiliar to me
The lyrics to Twiztid's song "Familiar" are complex and emotional, capturing the sense of confusion and pain that comes with being trapped in a cyclical pattern of betrayal and hurt. The first stanza sets the tone, describing the feeling of emptiness that comes from being unable to fulfill a basic need, like a well that has run dry. This is contrasted with the sense of promise that comes with the future, which is undercut by the feeling of being let down. The final line of the stanza encourages listeners to find the courage to stand up again after falling.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "The cycle is all too familiar to me," underlining the sense of being trapped in a pattern of hurt and betrayal. The second stanza delves further into this feeling of being trapped, describing the sensation of running from someone and being unable to escape. The line "pretending I'm dead today" is particularly poignant, encapsulating the impulse to retreat from the world when things become too overwhelming. The final stanza is a plea for understanding, with the singer asking if people will be able to see past their mistakes and find a way to overcome the pain and hurt that has defined their lives.
Overall, "Familiar" is a powerful and intense song that speaks to the experience of being trapped in a cycle of hurt and betrayal. Twiztid's lyrics are raw and emotional, capturing the frustration and pain that comes with being unable to escape the pain of the past.

I respect that, but I absolutely love the remixed. In my opinion, it fits the song much better, but I do absolutely love this version too! Both are epic and I'm grateful we get two amazing versions!
