Uno cemented himself as a pillar of the rap scene in 2015, taking the underground by storm with the release of his No More Thotties mixtape and songs like "Parkin' Lot Pimpin'," "Giuseppe Swag," and "WHAT." Uno would respond to the craving for new music held by his fans for two years by releasing his debut studio mixtape Live.Shyne.Die in late 2017.
A desire for musical experimentation led to his mid-2018 EP Limbus. The series' second installment would release in December of that same year. This trend of experimentation would continue itself with the release of Uno's Deadication remix project in mid-2019.
Uno delivered Deadication II: Lost Files in early 2020, a mixtape containing vaulted songs dating back to 2017. In mid-2020, Uno released his highly-anticipated debut studio album, 8, which included popular tracks "Das Him," "Night Mode," and "Can't Go."
At the beginning of 2021, Uno would release his sophomore studio album, Unoverse, a 10-track LP that would mark his first independent release since his 2017 EP Sorry for the Wait. The project featured standout cuts "Taco Bell" and "Opp Pack." ~ Alexander L. & Hamed T.

We created a wave they copied the wave
Get hit with the K

Ain't broke no more i slept on the floor
I pop me a pill and fuck me a hoe
Check the Feng Shui
Uh, yeah, come check the Feng Shui
I told her I might fuck her the wrong way
I told her I might fuck her the wrong way
And I gave her a bool million today
And I pull up with that mofuckin' K
Try to run up, we gon' spray like some Mace
Huh, yeah, get out my face
Yeah, yeah, you on the wave
Yeah, yeah, get out the way
Yeah, yeah, no, I am no captain
I cannot save you today
Yeah, yeah, all this damn money
I'm just gon' pay you today
Yeah, yeah, and I'm gon pave the way
Yeah, chains like slaves today
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Give me that brain today
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Give it if it is okay sip it up
Yeah, pussy, I rip it up
Yeah, she gonna eat me up i cannot get up
My legs, they hurting i pop me a perky
I know that they lurking
I know that they hurting
And that is for certain
In the song "Dexter x Uno" by UnoTheActivist, the lyrics begin with a declaration to "take that mask off," indicating a desire for authenticity and honesty. The presence of Uno and Dexter suggests a partnership or duo engaging in the narrative that follows. The singer expresses reluctance towards a certain action but mentions calling up Uno, emphasizing their bond and unity. The repetition of "ha, ha" creates a playful and carefree atmosphere, setting the stage for the bold and unapologetic lyrics that follow.
The lyrics delve into themes of loyalty, bravado, and defiance as the singer describes their loyalty to Uno, vowing to defend him if anyone were to confront him. There is a sense of assertiveness and confidence in the way the singer talks about their interaction with a woman, describing her in derogatory terms and boasting about their sexual conquests. The mention of being a gangster and not associating with "wankstas" adds a layer of toughness and street credibility to the narrative.
As the verse progresses, there is a shift in focus towards the singer's personal journey and transformation. They reflect on their past struggles with poverty and contrast it with their current status of wealth and success. The mention of sleeping on the floor and now living a life of luxury signifies a rags-to-riches narrative. References to weaponry and a sense of impending danger add a sense of urgency and tension to the narrative. The repetition of phrases like "give me that brain today" and "pussy, I rip it up" juxtapose themes of aggression with sexual desire, creating a complex and multifaceted portrayal of the singer's persona. Ultimately, the lyrics blend themes of loyalty, materialism, violence, and self-indulgence to paint a vivid portrait of a character navigating the complexities of street life and personal ambition.
