Uno cemented himself as a pillar of the rap scene in 2015, taking the underground by storm with the release of his No More Thotties mixtape and songs like "Parkin' Lot Pimpin'," "Giuseppe Swag," and "WHAT." Uno would respond to the craving for new music held by his fans for two years by releasing his debut studio mixtape Live.Shyne.Die in late 2017.
A desire for musical experimentation led to his mid-2018 EP Limbus. The series' second installment would release in December of that same year. This trend of experimentation would continue itself with the release of Uno's Deadication remix project in mid-2019.
Uno delivered Deadication II: Lost Files in early 2020, a mixtape containing vaulted songs dating back to 2017. In mid-2020, Uno released his highly-anticipated debut studio album, 8, which included popular tracks "Das Him," "Night Mode," and "Can't Go."
At the beginning of 2021, Uno would release his sophomore studio album, Unoverse, a 10-track LP that would mark his first independent release since his 2017 EP Sorry for the Wait. The project featured standout cuts "Taco Bell" and "Opp Pack." ~ Alexander L. & Hamed T.

Fuck around and fell in love with the demon
What do you believe in?
Can you tell me, 'cause I wanna believe
(Please)
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
Sporting that Glock every season
All of my niggas hardbody no Beatle
I ain't tryna mislead 'em
That money gon' stretch like a limousine
I love that money, don't get between
My niggas on go but I
Thought they was being green
Because they seen what I haven't seen
Bitch seen me, think that I'm heaven-sent
True but what do that mean
My energy vibrant, a flowing stream
She had decided that Uno gon' make her cream
I had decided to get it by any means
I'm rapping the same
I ain't changing the frequency
I'm not Morgan Freeman, but here
You can lean on me
A shoulder to cry on if needed be
Know I'm a soldier but this not
Your heart'll get cold in this industry
Your heart and your soul and your entity
All it get bought up you feeling me
All of us brought up to kill all the enemies
Why they taught us dividing, not unity
And they think they gon' have some immunity
Tryna clone me, they tryna make two of me
Tryna clone me, they tryna make a few of me
I am Uno, it's really just one of me
But you think about it, it's a few of me
Hard to think about everything fluently
If you think about it, it ain't new to me
Yeah, I'm dragging my nuts
They can't neuter me
Dropping my nut, nigga haven't hit puberty
I'm starting to get tired
Of this motherfucking foolery
All them fraudulent chains and jewelry
All of the fame is fueling it
Most of these niggas be lame and losering
I just be playing the game, I'm cooling it
I took the blame, they said I was doing it
I know my soul is engrained in purity
Everything in y'all way, I'm using it
I'm just having my way and abusing it
Yeah, I said I was to blame, they accusing me
It's funny how everything changes usually
In the song "Heathen" by UnoTheActivist, the lyrics depict a narrative of someone who is labeled as a "heathen" or outsider because of their unconventional beliefs and actions. The line "Lil' bitty heathen, fuck around and fell in love with the demon" suggests that the singer has developed a fascination or infatuation with something that society deems as dark or negative. This could symbolize the person's attraction to forbidden or unconventional ideas, experiences, or even relationships.
The lyrics also raise the question of what the individual believes in. They express a desire to understand and find something to believe in, which suggests a longing for meaning or purpose in their life. The plea for someone to tell them what to believe hints at a sense of confusion or searching for guidance.
The lines "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, sporting that Glock every season" juxtapose elements of grace and aggression. It implies that despite the singer's unconventional beliefs or actions, they possess a sense of power and strength. The mention of the Glock could symbolize their ability to protect themselves or assert their beliefs in a potentially hostile environment.
The lyrics also touch upon the singer's loyalty to their friends or "niggas." They use the phrase "being green" to describe their initial misunderstanding of their friends' intentions. This suggests that the singer may have initially misjudged their friends' loyalty or motives, but ultimately realizes their true nature. It implies a level of wariness and mistrust within their social circle.
Overall, the lyrics of "Heathen" explore themes of individuality, searching for meaning, questioning societal norms, loyalty, and personal growth. It portrays the singer as someone who is unapologetically themselves, despite societal expectations or judgments. The song may resonate with individuals who feel like outsiders or who embrace unconventional beliefs and experiences.
