Uno cemented himself as a pillar of the rap scene in 2015, taking the underground by storm with the release of his No More Thotties mixtape and songs like "Parkin' Lot Pimpin'," "Giuseppe Swag," and "WHAT." Uno would respond to the craving for new music held by his fans for two years by releasing his debut studio mixtape Live.Shyne.Die in late 2017.
A desire for musical experimentation led to his mid-2018 EP Limbus. The series' second installment would release in December of that same year. This trend of experimentation would continue itself with the release of Uno's Deadication remix project in mid-2019.
Uno delivered Deadication II: Lost Files in early 2020, a mixtape containing vaulted songs dating back to 2017. In mid-2020, Uno released his highly-anticipated debut studio album, 8, which included popular tracks "Das Him," "Night Mode," and "Can't Go."
At the beginning of 2021, Uno would release his sophomore studio album, Unoverse, a 10-track LP that would mark his first independent release since his 2017 EP Sorry for the Wait. The project featured standout cuts "Taco Bell" and "Opp Pack." ~ Alexander L. & Hamed T.

Wondering why it got some knots in it
I ain't capping
Ain't you say you a shooter?
Ain't shot nobody yet (Cap)
Big cap
Know the life you live a lot of façade in it
(Cap) niggas know I stay with juice like
Heard you made it out and lost it
Like you brought the projects back
Sent my bro some dogfood
Turned him to a copycat (Dig?)
Sent lil' baby a football
Stay in the pocket like quarterback
Sippin' on some Morton Grove
Too high to talk, i'll call you back
The more I be sippin', the more I get fat
(What?)
The more I be whippin', thе more I get racks
The morе that she spitting, the harder I get
She melted my heart with a bottle of Tech
She rubbed me like I'm a genie in bottle
She pushed it and showed
It a little affection
Nigga be owing me money and fiending, bitch
You know when I pull up
It's time to collect (What?)
Go double codeine, it's time to get lit
Go dump in the dump, I got Glock on the hip
I'm not a slave, but got chains in the whip
Spin the whole block
You gon' pay for this shit
The chopper get sent to the grave off rip
Yeah, we takin' his chains off rip
Chase him down the block, seventeen in clip
You better watch how you be moving your lip
Looking in my pockets
Wondering why it got some knots in it
I ain't capping
Ain't you say you a shooter?
Ain't shot nobody yet (Cap)
Big cap
Know the life you live a lot of façade in it
(Cap) niggas know I stay with juice like
My name was Project Pat (Swear)
Heard you made it out and lost it
Like you brought the projects back
Sent my bro some dogfood
Turned him to a copycat (Dig?)
Sent lil' baby a football
Stay in the pocket like quarterback
Sippin' on some Morton Grove
Too high to talk, i'll call you back
Looking in my pockets
Wondering why it got some knots in it
I ain't capping
Ain't you say you a shooter?
Ain't shot nobody yet big cap
Know the life you live a lot of façade in it
Niggas know I stay with juice like
My name was Project Pat (What?)
Heard you made it out and lost it
Like you brought the projects back
Sent my bro some dogfood
Turned him to a copycat
Sent lil' baby a football
Stay in the pocket like quarterback
Sippin' on some Morton Grove
Too high to talk, i'll call you back
In "Knotts," UnoTheActivist reflects on his current financial situation, expressing his confusion and frustration over why his pockets have knots in them. He dismisses the idea of faking or exaggerating his lifestyle, addressing someone who claims to be a shooter but hasn't actually shot anyone. UnoTheActivist emphasizes the discrepancy between the persona some people portray and the reality of their lives, referring to it as a facade.
The lyrics also touch upon success and loss, as UnoTheActivist references someone who made it out but ended up losing everything, paralleling it to bringing the projects back. He mentions sending his friend some drugs, which resulted in the friend imitating his actions. UnoTheActivist then sends a football (symbolizing drugs) to a woman, encouraging her to stay involved and committed to their illicit activities. The mention of Morton Grove likely refers to a specific strain of marijuana, indicating that UnoTheActivist is too high to hold a conversation, promising to call back instead.
Overall, the song delves into themes of authenticity, materialism, and the consequences of certain lifestyles, showcasing UnoTheActivist's introspective perspective on these matters.
