DARKNESS GRACE
Ungraved Lyrics

[Music by Fucker]
[Lyrics by Angel]

This place never saw sunlight
'cause ebony trees are grand.
Dreadful roots digging up all ground,
Fragrance of Death is always near.
[CHORUS:]
A Forest of hundred ages,
It's shelter for lonely spirits.
A place of thousand lives,
It's chasm for stars.

Each stone is more alive than you -
You sleep in melancholic dream.
Your time is out. Wake up!
You can be free. It's Darkness grace.
Disappear in the Water of Oblivion
It's enviable prize
All who die here have forgotten
Rely on Darkness grace.

[CHORUS:]
Revive your dark
Necklace of your sins
Hurl your curse,
Blaze away!
Guzzle my thoughts
And you never be lonely

Like this dying souls,
You are Gadfly.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Ungraved's song "Darkness Grace" depict a forest that has never seen sunlight, instead being dominated by eerie ebony trees and dreadful roots that seem to reach out from the ground ominously. The fragrance of death permeates the area, and it is hinted that lonely spirits find shelter among the trees, while stars represent a chasm. The second verse implies that each stone within the forest is far more alive than the listener, who has been sleeping in a melancholic dream. The suggestion is that their time is up, but they can be freed from their situation by the grace of the darkness. This enables them to disappear into the Water of Oblivion and forget their past life and sins.

The chorus emphasizes that the forest has existed for hundreds of ages and has offered shelter for lonely sprits and forgotten lives, telling listeners to rely on the grace of darkness. In the final lines of the song, the listener is urged to revive their dark nature, throw off the necklace of their sins, and blaze away in order to be free from loneliness like the dying souls that inhabit the forest. The ending metaphor compares the listener to a gadfly, an insect that irritates and arouses others to action, suggesting that they should embrace their own inner darkness and rise from it.

@Altrusian Grace Media Absolutely love when I'm listening to speeches, and lectures, and things like this. And people DONT put random noises and music in the background!!!!!!
Mad respect for the YouTubers that do regular version.

@Jordon Cole It must be quite strange to be able to write yet not be able to read. You must live in quite a dissociative state. Based on your comment, you also have "MAD" respect for me because you obviously know that the "regular" version is also available both as a YT video and at my Bandcamp page.

@Altrusian Grace Media my Punctuation is not proper, I do accept. Would you also accept that the grand majority of people do not want music and all that crap in the videos when they're listening... when I find a video that's not part 1 part 2 when it's the full video and you put music behind it bro... and noise..... we are so upset..

Thanks for making a video on I wanted I guess. It's not my cup of tea but trying to get people to listen is pretty cool..

I'll try to find your regular version.

@Jordon Cole Please consider subscribing, and explore what I have to offer as a channel and creator. You see, I put "ambience" behind some things because that is what I enjoy listening to primarily when I sleep, as well you may find some of them enjoyable. But many are also without such ambience. Happy hunting!
