Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Ungraved’s song “Downfall of the Age” are a warning sign to humanity about its own self-destruction. The song represents the idea that destruction is coming and it will be the last for each and every one of us. The lyrics call out to humanity to grow from its darkness and make the universal evil that has taken over the world change to something better. However, humanity has lost its sight and memories, its consistency and has ultimately condemned itself to its own damnation.

The first chorus reminds us of the brutality, insanity and satanic domination that has brought humanity to its knees. The age is falling, and it is being replaced by something darker, occult and vitiated. The fewer people that remain, the better the sign of the dark lord’s approval. The world is now only filled with dust and a spiritual cage, a closed gate that leads to unpardonable sin, and yet, people continue to call it life.

The second chorus brings in a sense of finality, of completion, that satanic brutality and insanity will reign forever. Contemplating this version of the world, we are left with the reality that it is too hot, and war is the only constant. The lyrics of Ungraved’s “Downfall of the Age” call for humanity to awaken from its dark age and turn towards the light before it’s too late.

What kind of idiocy drives the idea behind moving the stones? They are a historical artifact because of where they are, placed there by the ancients. Move them and they are nothing more than a bunch of rocks.
We have the technology to photograph them, scan them and model them. We can do all that and use the results to study them all we like. We don't need to move them to study them. Leave them where they are for posterity to find again and wonder at them.

I agree the stones should be left where they were placed. The Temple of Ramses was different. Once flooded only divers would have been able to see the Temple. Standing Stones can be seen all over Europe - I have seen a few in the UK and sought them out in other places.

The stones are very porous and are deteriorating under water. Since they had been on dry land until the construccion of the dam it is not a bad idea to move them to preserve them from crumbling and disolving under water.

For the pure sake a accuracy, it's reasonably to suggest much of the past is hidden, either under water or buried, but what's hidden has not and probably can never be quantified. A minor point really but it's a little less depressing. The truly sad thing? The greatest part of human historical development occurred before writing, and except for locations offering excellent organic preservation, the great majority of that record has decomposed. 70 years ago, the great British archaeologist Gramham Clarke commented that studying Mesolithic and Paleolithic cultures is rather like trying to comprehend the totality of the human body from the study of skeletal remains only. Archaeologists can never really know the total of human history. We gain insights to parts and then draw inferences to that which we cannot study. I can say for certain that archaeology has never been boring!

This is what's wrong with modern archaeology...these stones have just been "rediscovered" and already deemed as a place of sun worship? Why does every single thing (according to mainstream) have to be a temple of worship? I seriously doubt that all these people had to do was go around gathering stones so they could "worship" something. I think survival might have been equally or more critical and time consuming. They're sure stuck in a rut while our history is blurred at best. If it weren't for great presentations like this one, we'd never even have a clue. I can't stand that everything gets stuck in the temple, tomb, sacrifice category. Like I always say they could have done it because they thought it looked cool. The population distribution for those groups predate the rising sea level associated with the end of the Ice Age. We have some dolmen structures here in the Netherlands. They're all constructed of natural boulders. At other sites it's a combination of boulders and quarried, cut slabs. And a few sites using only carved and quarried slabs. It's a strange anomaly. With standing stones the same can be observed. Natural stones and boulders and carved out blocks. Those carved slabs are often broken and heavily eroded. The dolmen seem to have been constructed with these slabs already in this state. The slabs dictate what the construction looks like. That's backwards.
If these people had the ability to quarry, cut and work these slabs and 'square columns' it should be the other way around. They would have made the megaliths fit the construction.
I really wonder if we're looking again at repurposing of very (extremely) ancient stone slabs and blocks that were left laying around. Look at how many slabs would have been square if not for broken edges and corners. Some seem like broken in half. One part still square but halfway they're just randomly end in whatever shape. All like what you would expect from forcefully destroyed constructions.Just some thoughts.

As always thank you; great pictures and information. This is just one of many examples where civil building projects have destroyed or endangered monuments/sites across the whole world. Please remember that, thanks to miss information/attribution by Chicago University in the 60s, we nearly saw the INCREDIBLE site of Göbekli Tepe- wrongly described as a Byzantine Graveyard - and therefore scheduled to be dynamited as part of a the huge dam building project in the area. Thanks to Klaus Schmidt - already labouring intensively to save later sites - we have this enigmatic treasure for now ,saved for the world to try and understand. Who knows what else has been wilfully destroyed/purposely buried or submerged? The history of the new incomers to North American is one VAST litany of shame and cultural vandalism. And these are just sites that humans have chosen to eradicate/forget,without properly understanding or including in a cohesive narrative. Nature too,has covered feature like the stone circle and wall at the bottom of what is now Lake Michigan & Huron! In the case of the Spanish stones,yes,they must be moved and saved,but, every time we arrogantly move an ancient structure, we ignore the other 50% of their importance,the exact position they were originally placed? As you well know,it was customary across UK to move ,knock down,burn for lime and generally destroy ,mainly due due to superstition or just plain ignorance,any ancient standing stones. Many like Stonhenge, that we see today as sacred,have not only been resighted and stood up, but,also stabilised with concrete and even iron supports! The very fact that it takes supposed heritage commities such discussion,indicates greatly how the ancient past is generally viewed, particularly in countries where religions of various flavours hold power. That an indifferent church still sits above the largest stone pyramid in South America,says it all? Wonderful rediscovery,but,what else is out there OR more correctly WAS?!? 2:09 WHAT Don't move them are you crazy!?!?! Sure I understand they are hard to get to and close to erosive water, but to move them would diminish both the original site you're taking the blocks away from, and the site you take them to because it's not really the true site. A solution should be made to preserve the stones at this original site, and excavations should be made immediately before the drought ends (assuming it will any time soon)

I wonder if this site is situated on a ley line? If so, it would have more meaning like the others that are.
The serpent culture was from Thoth. He traveled the globe and taught different people’s secrets, wisdom, knowledge and Light of the universe. It wasn’t Sun worship, it was of the Light.
You can trace the “ serpent “ back to Eden. That was Enki. He was trying to teach the primitive humans of knowledge. Hence the tree of knowledge. Enki relinquished the cardushus to Thoth and carried on his fathers mission.
Enki’s brother, Enlil, identified by a bird, normally an eagle or Phoenix, despised humanity. Wherever Enki/ Thoth traveled to spread the wisdom and knowledge of the Light, the Enlilites would follow and bring destruction. The symbolism is everywhere. Look at Mexico’s flag. An eagle defeating a serpent. America, an eagle. Most English crests have a Phoenix.
We were defeated a long time ago by the Enlilites. The powers that be and the ruling families that have controlled us, brought war and senseless death, will soon come to an end. There is nothing they can do to stop it. It’s cyclical. The golden age is in its return.

They shouldn’t be moved. It’s a sun temple, and moving them will change the alignment. Instead the boundaries of the reservoir should be moved or it’s size reduced. Both are going to cost roughly the same.

Pedro Gouveia I don’t know lol... I think it’s because they are all circular and when I think about the way we lived back then, they just seem like time keepers... we had to navigate by the stars and move with the seasons

Moving them is not preserving the site. The site is why the stones are there. By moving them, what are humans going to say in 1,000-2,000 years from now?

The water has proprably been the main reason for this structures good state. If it was not for the water it would have been in similar or worse state than stonehenge.

Moving these stones will be a mistake. It will rob this site of all value since it will remove them from their historical context. Stonehenge is what it is today because of the landscape it resides in and without that context, it would just be some old stones arranged in a circle. An alternative must be found to preserve this site if Spain wants it to become a tourist attraction

I understand where you are coming from, but the site is on the bottom of a reservoir. Once the drought ends it will be impossible to do anything with the site.

Build a coffee dam around it. As a last resort move it for preservation and study, but not for a tourist attraction. Can’t they make up some kind of extraterrestre Pie grande elsewhere to make a peso from?

There were no celts 4000 years ago. And it is a very popsmart idea about immigrations bringing megalith building or agriculture or language or bronze. Like: "Piss off natives. Here comes the megalith builders". I am glad he said in the video that it is not right to call it a Stonehenge. It is not bigger than a garden owner could make it in his garden. Not very far from where I live in Denmark, near a town called Værslev (Væ meaning temple), an arial photo showed marks in a field made by foundations for megaliths in 3 big circles, the biggest 300 m. across. There is nothing on the surface exept a burial mound in the center. But the archaelogists are not interrested.

@@jimmerhardy well, it's a water reservoir that's part of the state infrastructure. As far as I know it's already damed off so we would have to build a hermetic dome or something in order to both preserve the site and use the reservoir.

And, call us crazy, but we like to have clean water at our disposal, so yeah, moving them seems like the best option (I have no idea how exactly, I'll give you that).

@@jimmerhardy I'm assuming the site is at the bottom since it has been exposed only a few times when the reservoir was at its lowest, so it's either isolating the site or stop using the reservoir altogether.

I guess you could build a dam somewhere and use only a fraction of the reservoir, but again, the reservoir is needed to supply close by cities and farming. The fact that it got so low it's already bad news.

Also, the site can be preserved through a lidar scan or something, they could make a perfect 3d model quite easily I think. Which would also help to do analyses so they should do that anyway.
