Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Up Front's song "Still" is an expression of gratitude and appreciation towards a person who has had a significant impact on the singer's life. The lyrics seem to be directed towards someone who has taught the singer to believe in their ability and has been with them through thick and thin. The singer acknowledges that without this person in their life, they would not feel truly alive.
The first few lines of the lyrics "Thinking about it it's hard to forget it all a sun inside a universe of memory" suggest that the memories of this person are so strong that it is hard to forget them. The singer goes on to say that the person has been living within their life and has given them everything they have. The lyrics "remember everything you've ever given me and let me give myself" indicates that the person has taught the singer to be independent and believe in themselves.
The chorus of the song is a declaration of love and appreciation towards the person. The lyrics "thank you for staying with me for meaning so much in my life and thank you for being with me I'll never forget the times that we've had" convey the singer's desire to express their gratitude towards this person. The final lines of the song "this has been lovely this has been beautiful this has been the time of my life this is still..." suggest that the memories and the impact of the person continue to remain with the singer even though time has passed.
Overall, the lyrics of "Still" are a beautiful tribute to a person who has had a considerable influence on the singer's life.

"Qatar is more tolerant than Poland" LOL what? Qatar has a state religion and it's forbidden there to proselytize anything else than Islam. But yeah, especially post soviet Belarus is a "theocracy", right... The first elections in Qatar took place barely 17 years ago... But indeed Poland is not tolerant, we don't tolerate pedophilia, polygamy and foreigners that wants to enforce their laws like for example sending illegal immigrants. We do not tolerate social parasites but we welcome about a million of Ukrainian workers.
