V.A. Lyrics

Yeah
Yeah you know how the streets go so cold, yeah
What if I told you that I got it on me right now
If a nigga diss he get shot down
Sometimes I feel like it's me, myself and the bid
But my dawgs riding no question
Free K9 I miss him
Free Thoro I miss him
Free all my dawgs out detention
But they got a date I'm not stressing
Are you gon be there through the rain or just the sunny days
Money hungry youngin gon tryna find away
Got some members in the box waiting on they dates
In the streets it get real, you can get erased
And if she moving waste then she can get replaced
And this GG it came with no safe
Big .40 Glock fucking up his face
Then I'm out here tryna do the race, yeah
I'm tryna get the cake every other day
Grinding tryna find a way
And we getting paid
Nigga walk up on me and you'll get flamed
My waryas in xabsi fucking up the place
Niggas getting left behind I'm in a different pace
And I ain't really tryna catch a case, so I mask up when I go and catch a K
Uh, I been moving different
Touch road G-Lock or the Smithen
Get headtapped get left in the distance
Now that lil nigga missin
Yeah he swimming with fishes
Drop fours everyday cause they bitches
They ain't hitting, get innocent victims
What if I told you that I got it on me right now
If a nigga diss he get shot down
Sometimes I feel like it's me, myself and the bid
But my dawgs riding no question
Free K9 I miss him
Free Thoro I miss him
Free all my dawgs out detention
But they got a date I'm not stressing

I'm done smoking opps, I'm only sippin' man (c'mon c'mon)
You know how we do this shit

Overall Meaning

In V.A.'s song "Believe Me," the lyrics depict the harsh realities of the streets and the dangers that come with living that lifestyle. The opening lines, "Yeah you know how the streets go so cold, yeah / What if I told you that I got it on me right now / If a nigga diss he get shot down," convey a sense of mistrust and the need for self-protection in these tough environments. The artist is suggesting that he carries a weapon to defend himself, indicating that violence is prevalent and he must be prepared to respond.

The lyrics also reflect on the loyalty and camaraderie shared between friends in this challenging environment. V.A. mentions missing his incarcerated friends, K9 and Thoro, and expresses solidarity with those facing detention. However, he reassures them that he is not stressing about their future release dates, implying he believes they will be reunited eventually.

The song touches on the ups and downs of life, asking if someone will be there to support and stand by V.A. through both the rain and sunshine. He acknowledges the hunger for money and success that drives him to find a way out of his current circumstances. V.A. also acknowledges the harsh realities of the streets, warning that in this environment, one's life can easily be taken away, and even a girlfriend who becomes a liability may be replaced.

The lyrics continue to explore the artist's mindset and objectives. He shares his determination to chase success every other day, grinding to find a better path. V.A. emphasizes his commitment to getting paid and his readiness to defend himself, using the term "flamed" to describe the consequences for anyone who approaches him with ill intentions. He also references his crew, the "waryas," causing chaos and implies that those who cannot keep up with him will be left behind.

In the final lines, V.A. alludes to moving differently, suggesting a shift in behavior and approach. He mentions weapons such as the "G-Lock" or the "Smithen," indicating his readiness to take action if necessary. The lyrics also suggest a darker side, with mentions of innocent victims and the consequences of engaging in violence.

Overall, "Believe Me" serves as an honest portrayal of the artist's experiences and the tough realities of his environment. It highlights the need for self-protection, loyalty among friends, and the constant drive to escape this dangerous world.

It sounds like they're doing this on purpose.

@lizarriaga1521

Forever... Don't think of a time, just don't give up.. that's what they want!

@greymatter2321

You are spot sir DONT GIVE UP...EVER!!!👍🏿

@greymatter2321

Basically file your claim ( supplemental/higher level etc etc) get yourself a tanker truck full of coffee and a dump truck full of popcorn and wait. In your mind make the "MINIMUM" wait two years and DO monitor it, but the most important thing is to NEVER EVER GIVE UP! I don't care what VA says about "duty to assist" it's actually "duty to deny" I waited 7 years for a 60% and currently have a 2 year old appeal in for a higher rating and a secondary claim that if all goes well it should put me at 90. My attorney can't believe they denied one of my initial claims. DONT GIVE UP!!

@montanatacticalhomesteader6623

@@greymatter2321 funny.. I’m buying a dump truck Tuesday..

@greymatter2321

@@montanatacticalhomesteader6623 🤣🤣🤣👍🏿

@tenacioustee189

OMG, 2 to seven years is a long time. The VA needs to do much, much better with their response time. At least, the back pay will be worth it.

@marcuswiggins7472

Unless you are denied then you start all over again and wait 4 more years

@montanatacticalhomesteader6623

This sucks.. been without a paycheck for two years already.

@TheSoloa177

So I am clear, you are saying a supplemental claim is taking a year to complete? I submitted my supplemental claim Nov 3 2022
