Valshe's name is derived from her first album of cover songs: Valuable Sheaves.
Hakuseki does almost all of the artwork for Valshe's albums; including utattemita movies. Valshe is most commonly related to Kagamine Len in looks alone: blonde hair, blue eyes, but without the frontal sweep bangs and ponytail in back.

The lyrics of VALSHE's song TIGHTROPE portray the struggle of living life amid societal expectations and the need for self-acceptance. The opening lines, "Jōzetsu ni dareka ni awase nagara Dō demo ī egao furimaki," suggest that the singer is attempting to please others while also maintaining a happy exterior. However, the next line, "Kyōretsu na shiri shiyoku no nioi ni Nobose nai yō ni shite," takes a more introspective turn, implying that the singer is feeling pressured to conform and suppress their true emotions.
The chorus, "Dive into lie, It's heartless dark Tōmawari demo ī yo This feeling cannot be priced," further emphasizes the themes of struggle and internal conflict. The singer seems to be grappling with feelings of fear, loneliness, and insecurity, which they cannot simply push to the side. The lines, "Kire-sōna hosoi ito watari kitte miseyou Nandai sae mo raku ni suri nukete...," suggest a desire to break free from societal expectations and find their own path.
The rest of the lyrics touch upon various aspects of this struggle, from the pressure to conform to societal ideals of beauty ("Chōshō wa don'na bijin ni datte Minikuku nare chau mahō"), to the desire to find their true self ("Mono wakari yoi furi shite shita uchi Hontō no `boku' nante inai"). Ultimately, the singer seems to be searching for a way to navigate their way through life without sacrificing their authenticity.
