Te Lo Mereces

De haber dejado morir, dentro de mi, mis sentimientos,
De haber dejado extinguirse la llama
Que hizo fundirse nuestros cuerpos.
No me avergüenzo, no, no me avergüenzo
Porque tú has hecho grande
Mi dolor tantas veces que mi rencor
En tu presencia se enciende.
Te lo mereces, sí, te lo mereces.
No me arrepiento, no, no me arrepiento
De haber sabido esperar para vengar cada momento
Que por tu culpa he llorado,
Que por tu amor he sufrido.
No habrás pensado que yo te he perdonado,
Porque tú te lo mereces,
Por haberte creído que impunemente
Jugarías conmigo.
Te lo mereces, ladrón, como castigo,
Porque tú has hecho grande
Mi dolor tantas veces que mi rencor
En tu presencia se enciende.
Te lo mereces, sí, te lo mereces.
Te lo mereces, ladrón, como castigo,
Porque tú has hecho grande
Mi dolor tantas veces que mi rencor
En tu presencia se enciende.
Te lo mereces, sí, te lo mereces.
The song "Te Lo Mereces" by Valeria Lynch is a powerful expression of the emotions of a person who has been hurt in a relationship and has decided to take revenge. The lyrics are filled with anger, pain, and resentment towards a former lover who has played with her feelings and caused her a great deal of pain. The chorus, "Te lo mereces" (You deserve it), is repeated several times throughout the song and serves as a reminder of what the person has done to her.
The singer of the song declares that she does not regret extinguishing the flame that once brought them together and that she is not ashamed of witnessing the pain the ex-partner feels as she leaves them behind. The lyrics make it clear that the person has been hurt to such an extent that they are beyond feeling anything positive towards their former lover. The chorus serves as a reminder that the person being addressed deserves whatever negative consequences come their way.
The song captures a raw and powerful emotion that many people can relate to, which is the feeling of being betrayed and hurt by someone you trusted. The lyrics express the desire for revenge, and the chorus is a reminder that sometimes people do get what they deserve.
