Despite the genre's revival in Sweden in the 00s, Valerie is one of the few bands in Norway that struggle to keep the legacy of 80s hard rock alive. The band is known for its catchy melodies, memorable riffs and guitar solos. With idols such as Dokken, Great White, Cinderella, Queen and new Swedish acts such as Crazy Lixx and Crashdïet, the band is slowly developing its own unique style.
