Various Artists Lyrics

And this snot for a shot of whiskey
You can kiss on these lips for a couple of sips
But do not get too frisky
Well, I got to use the restroom but there ain't a stall for two
So squeeze on in and don't breathe in 'cause I won't go solo on you
Use it
Well, I'd like to eat spaghetti but you want vindaloo
So I'll leave in a hurry and order some curry 'cause I won't go solo on you
Oh, you and me, we're together through and through
So if you move to China, I'll be right behind ya
'Cause I won't go solo on you, yee-haw!
The lyrics of the song "I Thank You" by Various Artists are humorous and lighthearted. The song talks about two people who are in a relationship and will do anything to stay together, no matter what situation they find themselves in. The opening lines of the song, "I'll trade you these tears for a couple of beers, and this snot for a shot of whiskey", suggest that the singer is willing to give up his emotions for a good time. He also offers his lips for a few sips but warns his partner not to get too frisky.
The second verse of the song finds the singer in a difficult situation. He needs to use the restroom, but there is no stall available. He suggests that his partner squeezes in with him, but warns her not to breathe in as he will not go solo on her. The third verse is all about food. The singer likes spaghetti, but his partner prefers vindaloo. He decides to order curry and leave in a hurry, but he won't go solo on her. The chorus of the song is all about the singer's commitment to his partner. He promises to be with her no matter where she goes, and he won't go solo on her.
Overall, the song is a fun and playful take on the idea of a committed relationship. The lyrics are humorous and suggest that the couple is willing to put up with just about anything to stay together. The upbeat tone of the song and the catchy melody make it a popular choice for parties and events.
