I think some people are so quick to write off this film as slasher garbage that they don't stop and realize how beautiful this track is - and how sad the story is.

+TayInTheWay It's one of those cases in which the music is better than the film. Not that the film is bad, but if you hear this track alone you'd never think that it comes from a film like that. It kind of shows serenity and peace at the end, even if we don't know what's gonna happen next.

Beautifully put

Invisible Man

+alexcnb it reminds me of the credits of manhunt.

Every horror friend I know likes this movie to some degree. That's all that matters to me. And yes, the music is great!

Indeed. Even more tragic is Jason's story. He wasn't evil incarnate, or a possessed creature, but an innocent kid who got a very raw deal in life. He then saw his mother murdered. Sorry, but I get where Jason is coming from. He never asked for any of this.

Sean S Cunningham pulled off the greatest jump scare in slasher history. Makes you really love this movie even more every time you watch it. Such a classic. One of the best.

“Then he’s still there.” Is the creepiest Friday the 13th movie quote ever.

I remember watching these movies as a kid, and it wasn't until my teenage years that I got to see the original. And still to this day, I believe it's the best one. I always enjoyed this story better than what it went on to be. Not to say Jason isn't awesome, because he is. But the original story surrounding pamela is a masterpiece and I'd love for someone to remake it.

I would like to have this played at my funeral... and pay someone to rush in screaming as the scare chord comes in.
