Velvet Belly's history dates back to Kristiansand in 1989, a period when th… Read Full Bio ↴Velvet Belly's history dates back to Kristiansand in 1989, a period when the three gentlemen Leh, Aanesen and Rasmussen were searching for a female voice to accompany their little combo. This appeared in the magnificent voice of Anne Marie Almedal, who paradoxically proved to be the right one they were looking for, by not sounding like the vocal references they had imagined. The band who took their name from the repertoire of the 4AD-band, This Mortal Coil, started their search for a musical sound where all their personalities and ideas form a common expression.
Between 1992 and 2003 the band released six albums.

I'm a bit insulted by Kong trying to break a padlock with a chair. I guess the woman never heard of climbing? But I guess she had to stall for an minute and a half. Oh, please. However, in the light of everything, I'm sorta digging The Dollhouse. I mean I would rather put Mia--"Jade" as a singles competitor because I feel she has a lot more to prove as a solo act. But I guess this was TNA wanting to put too many cooks in the kitchen. Just so they'll have something to do. I don't know how to take this change in attitude when it comes to Taryn. But, she seems to have adopted the persona very well.
