Ventilader comes as a solid and coherent concept. They accomplish a perfect balance between traditional instruments and programming. From different corners of Mexico, this power trio begins it’s history on September of 2004, when Jorge Marrón, originally from Acapulco, meets Mercy after seeing him play the drums at a local bar of his home town in Monterrey. Both of them decide to travel to Mexico City in search of new platforms. This is the place where they find Chamin, the bass player that finally complements their sound.
With their new albumápice, Ventilader delivers 9 songs that combine electronic textures with a sutil pop sensibility, coming altogether in a nostalgic tone. Their lyrics both in Spanish and English have a distinctive place in the composition, using the language’s unique phonetic qualities to deliver a message and create a new sonic atmosphere.

Ventilader Lyrics

Escucha el exterior, tu voz se ahoga en la tormenta, algunas veces crees perder el control, algo te dice que eres parte.
Algo nos dice, somos parte.
The lyrics of Ventilader's song "Int. Ext." convey the message of listening to both our inner and outer voices. The first verse encourages us to listen to our internal voice, suggesting that our voice has the power to elevate the tide within us. It acknowledges that sometimes we may feel like we are losing control, but reassures us that this feeling is just a part of who we are. The second verse urges us to listen to the external world, but acknowledges that our voice can get drowned in the storm of life. It also acknowledges that at times, we may feel like we are losing control, but emphasizes that this feeling is also a part of our existence. The concluding line of the song, "Algo nos dice, somos parte," translates to "Something tells us, we are a part." This not only includes the idea of being a part of the world around us but also acknowledges our connection to ourselves.
Overall, these lyrics suggest a sense of introspection and self-awareness. They encourage us to embrace both the chaos within and the chaos outside, recognizing that both are essential parts of our lives. It emphasizes the importance of listening to our inner voice while also being aware of the external influences that shape us.
