Thank you so much, Soulhawk, for posting these singles by the Vibrations during their period on Okeh (1964-68), which came immediately after their original version of "My Girl Sloopy" on Atlantic, the only one worth listening to IMHO (apologies to fans of the better selling cover by the McCoys as "Hang On Sloopy," but it just doesn't cut it!), which had peaked at #10 on the US R&B charts (and #26 on Billboard's Hot 100) in March of 1964. This lovely rendition of the Beatles' "And I Love Her" peaked at #47 on the US R&B charts (but only #118 on Billboard's Bubbling Under charts) in October of 1966.

Beautiful!! Soul full bliss!! Sir Paul McCartney would be proud of this cover version of the song that came to him in a dream along with the beautiful ballad... "yesterday"...I Wish I could write songs like this in my sleep! The Vibrations took this to a deeper level, but that's what soul music does.
