Cameron was originally born and raised in southern California. After graduation he trained in organic agriculture at Emerson College in England. Upon returning to Vancouver, he spent some time playing in various bands.
The band's first release was the EP "Wild Country" in 2012.
The band garnered a Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2014.
The band's debut full-length album, The Private World of Paradise, was released in 2014.
Their second full-length album, Kaleidoscopes, was released in 2017, preceded by the singles "Tricks" and "To Be Used".

This is my favorite song in the whole world, no other song like it can bring me to a pace of paradise in my mine and thoughts. Thank you so much for this album, it is one of the only things that make me feel like i'm not alone. I even bought the vinyl, but one of the instrumentals is warped on it so this song sounds absolutely terrible on it hahah, but I still love it, it will always be my favorite song in my existence.

i love this song! It is beautiful, it shows what its like to fall in love with a stranger and you can't stop thinking about them. It's such a strong feeling and makes you completely in trance ^-^ however the ending was a little rough and sad :(
