Whole lotta haters wanna fight I swear, cause a nigga main jawn wanna do my hair
Twist me up, let me crank, rub my back, then let me lay, give me dome, then let me skate
Yall bullshittin still goin off gates

I remember when I used to bust a mac wit my eyes closed
Then time rode, shawty choppin plus she get it showed

The Posse Cut by Wale is a perfect example of a classic hip hop track. The song is a collaboration of four rappers, Wale, Fat Trel, Black Cobain, and Lil Wayne who has a sampled verse on this song. The core of this track is the message that only real people associate with each other, and if someone doesn't like them, that doesn't matter.
Wale's verse is a proclamation of his authenticity and success, being from Prince George's to the district, following his vision for years even if he wasn't seen initially. He talks about how he runs the city with OG Nikes, and haters wanna fight him because their crush wants to do his hair. He demands the girls to twist him up, give him a dome, and let him skate in his freedom. Wale is known for his thought-provoking and metaphorical lyrics, and it is visible here as well.
Fat Trel's verse in The Posse Cut talks about his past, where he attacked with his eyes closed, but things have changed, and now he worries about cops more. He says he is young and still thugging and does things that others can't do, making them less of a man. He defies societal norms as it's not a straightforward path to himself. He mentions how some wives like him, but their husband doesn't understand it.
Black Cobain's verse talks about his confidence and supremacy in the game. He doesn't tolerate inferiority or negativity and handles each situation like a matador. He raps about the Xs and Os he sends his haters, which is a sign of love and respect. Hate became his new love and drug, and he challenges others to compete with his flow. Furthermore, Mr. Folarin said he got him trill rockin too, referring to Wale. The song ends with Lil Wayne's sample, repeating the main point of the song.
