Come Under The Covers
Walk the Moon Lyrics
Tiptoe
Down the hall from where you live
These floors are talkative
But it's alright, it's alright
So quiet
A little house out in the woods
And it would feel so good
If you would stay, if you would stay
And I wanna leave you satisfied
(Summer is over)
And I can feel the cold changing us inside
(Come under the cover)
'Cause I wanna leave you satisfied tonight
In the low light
Two white shadows become one
Come on, put your moon in my sun
And set me on fire, set me on fire
(Summer is over)
And I wanna leave you satisfied
(Summer is over)
And I can feel the cold changing us inside
(Come under the cover)
'Cause I wanna leave you satisfied tonight
Sometime
It's like you grew up down the street
It's such a mystery
The way you know me, for where you know me
(Summer is over)
And I wanna leave you satisfied
(Summer is over)
And I can feel the cold changing us inside
(Come under the cover)
'Cause I wanna leave you satisfied
(Summer is over)
Summer is over
Summer is over
Summer is over

idk why i'm sharing this gay shit but my heart is full and i love this track and this band so idc yall don't know me lol:
this song is my song with my best friend/former lover who i love so much. we have seen WTM three times together and i can't thank y'all enough for some amazing memories.
they made me a piece of art that sits on my nightstand that is based on/titled after this song. it is a screenprint of hands shaking out covers and the bottom part like the "under" part of the covers is a starry sky full of galaxies and our astrological constellations. we didn't end up together - kinda like in the song. but i remember when we both looked at each other and said we thought of each other when listening to the song especially at one particular line. we both said what line we were thinking of at the same time and i just remember how deeply in love i felt.
"sometimes, it's like you grew up down the street. it's such a mystery, the way you know me."
i don't think in this life my friend and i are going to be together. i don't really need that either from them i am happy being friends. i do hope in another life or somewhere out in the stars i meet them again one day and we do the whole damn thing. i really do feel we have a strong love that exists somewhere higher than we know. <+>
okay gay story time over i love this song and thanks for being the best band.

I seriously think the whole "Talking is Hard" album could be in Rock Band 4. I'd love to play these songs all day long!
