She was also the spokesperson for various different brands, such as Maybelline, and several products based on her image targeting young girls (dolls, shoes, make-up) were released.
Currently, besides being a singer, Wanessa is also the ambassadress in the non-governamental organization SOS Mata Atlântica, which defends the preservation of the Atlantic Forest. Due to her hard work in promoting the NGO and its goals, and also working for the depollution of the Tietê river, in São Paulo, Wanessa was awarded in 2007 with the Pro-Social Award from Brazil's Nickelodeon channel, and later received the Personality of the Year title from the Cisesp.
Wanessa was the first Brazilian female singer to have her first two singles reach #1 in Brazil. She has also performed a duet on television with Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti during one of his promotional trips to Brazil, and her newest album Total features a duet with another Italian singer, Gigi D'Alessio, in the song Um Coração Apaixonado (Un Cuore Malato), also included in D'Alessio's Made In Italy Brazilian album edition.
After marrying the businessman Marcus Buaiz on May 26th., Wanessa kept working on her new album with Nashville producer Jason Deere and Miami producer Cesar Lemos. After many delays due to the record company, her new album, Total, was released on August 25, 2007. Its first single, Não Tô Pronta Pra Perdoar, is a version of Dixie Chicks' 2007 Grammy Award-winning song Not Ready To Make Nice, authorized by the own trio.
In March, 2008, Wanessa went to Miami to record a musical partnership with Mexican trio Camila, in a special rendition of Camila's 2006 hit song Abrázame. The partnership was included in both Camila's Todo Cambió album in its Brazilian edition and in Wanessa's Total re-release.
In April, 2008, the singer started her new national tour, named after her sixth album. Wanessa recently announced that she will begin working on her next album in December, and that she will also promote this next album in Mexico.[1] The album, scheduled to April, 2009, includes a new song featuring American rapper Ja Rule in two different versions, with Camargo singing in Portuguese in the version named "Meu Momento" and singing in English in the version named "Fly".[2] "Fly" was released as a single in Brazil in April, with "Meu Momento" added to her album as a bonus track; no word has surfaced yet about whether Ja Rule intends or not to release "Fly" in the U.S.
Educação Sentimental II

Como uma vida normal
Tinha trabalho, dinheiro
Família, filhos e tal
Era tudo tão perfeito
Se tudo fosse só isso
Mas isso é menos do que tudo
Agora você vai embora
E eu não sei o que fazer
Ninguém me explicou na escola
Ninguém vai me responder
Na na na na...
Eu sei a hora do mundo inteiro
Mas não sei quando parar
É tanto medo de sofrimento
Eu sofro só de pensar
A quem eu devo perguntar?
Aonde eu vou procurar?
Um livro onde aprender
A você não me deixar
Agora você vai embora
E eu não sei o que fazer (fazer...)
Ninguém me explicou na escola
Ninguém vai me responder
Agora você vai embora
E eu não sei o que fazer
Ninguém me explicou na escola
Ninguém vai me responder
Na na na na...
Eu sei a hora do mundo inteiro
Mas não sei quando parar
É tanto medo de sofrimento
Eu sofro só de pensar
A quem eu devo perguntar?
Aonde eu vou procurar?
Um livro onde aprender
A você não me deixar
Agora você vai embora
E eu não sei o que fazer
Ninguém me explicou na escola
Ninguém vai me responder
Agora você vai embora
E eu não sei o que fazer
Ninguém me explicou na escola
Ninguém vai me responder
The lyrics in Wanessa Camargo's song Educação Sentimental II speak about the confusion and uncertainty one feels when faced with a major life change they were not prepared for. The first stanza describes the expectations of a "normal" life that were instilled in the singer - a job, money, family, and children. However, the singer realizes that these things are not enough and that they need more than just a traditional life. The second stanza speaks about the singer's current situation, where someone they depended on is leaving, and they don't know how to handle it. The singer feels lost and helpless, like they were not taught how to deal with this type of situation in school. They question where they can turn for guidance and understanding, expressing a fear of suffering and a desire to learn in order to prevent their loved one from leaving.
The repetition of the phrase, "não sei o que fazer" (I don't know what to do), emphasizes the singer's confusion and vulnerability. Wanessa's use of na na na na in the chorus serves to highlight the frustration and desperation felt by the singer in their search for answers.
In conclusion, Educação Sentimental II expresses the struggle of navigating a significant life change without any prior guidance or support, and the fear that comes with the unknown. The song provides a relatable and emotional insight into the human experience of grappling with the complexities of life.
