Ooh woo
Ooh wooh
Ooh wooh
I was talking to God like I was talking to my bro
He said I gave you what you need to release my your inner glow
I don′t know if it was fear but I started feeling cold
Then I pushed myself to do it I found me a piece of gold yeah
911 what da fuck? You too damn dope hands up
The song "Blisters" by War starts with the lyrics "Welcome to strings and bling, would you like to take a seat?" These lines might refer to the materialistic and luxurious lifestyle that is often portrayed in modern hip-hop culture. The next set of lyrics, "Re run, Ooh woo," is a repetition of a sound effect, which might signify an introspective moment in the singer's life.
The following lines, "I was talking to God like I was talking to my bro," reveal that the singer is seeking guidance or comfort from a higher power. The reference to "my bro" signifies the intimacy of the relationship with God, depicting the level of trust and familiarity with which the singer communicates with him. The line, "He said I gave you what you need to release my inner glow," suggests that the singer has a purpose in life, which is to bring out the best in himself and others.
The next line, "I don′t know if it was fear but I started feeling cold," might suggest that the task that the singer has been given by God is daunting, and he feels apprehensive about it. However, with the encouragement of the higher power, he "pushed myself to do it [and] found me a piece of gold yeah," implying that he has succeeded in fulfilling his purpose, and has found inner peace and satisfaction.
