Pacing along already trodden paths
I'm going through the motions of my life in the same old way, doing what I've always done, but not finding any fulfillment or joy in it.

In fear of what I can't see
I'm afraid of the unknown, of what could happen if I take a risk and step out of my comfort zone.

I chose the easy way out instead
Rather than facing my fears and taking action, I decided to take the path of least resistance and avoid any possible pain or discomfort.

Now that you're not here with me anymore, I'm left with my own pain and loneliness in this dull, gray world.

With my withering and empty mind
I feel like my mind and soul are slowly decaying, and there is nothing left inside of me that feels inspired or alive.

I scream my despair out to the world
I'm so alone and miserable that I feel the need to cry out, hoping somebody will answer and help me break free from my agony.

And shake my fist at my weakness
I'm frustrated and angry at myself for not being able to overcome my own limitations and rise above my fears.

The cross I made for myself
I created my own burden to bear, a symbol of my own foolishness and blindness.

Bear witness of loves cold decay
The burden I carry represents the death of my love and passion, betrayed and left to die in an empty, colorless world.

In the shadows of passion from the past
There was a time when I felt real passion and intensity, but that has faded into darkness and is now just a faint memory.

All this due to the creativity of my naivety
I was foolish and immature in my handling of these issues, and my lack of experience led me to create more pain and suffering for myself than was necessary.

And blind belief in faith
I doggedly pursued a certain course of action based on a belief or ideal, without realizing how misguided or harmful it might be in the end.
