However, in August 2006 they had a reunion concert at the third annual Soul2Soul Honors event in New Albany, Indiana (Louisville, Kentucky), with the following line-up: Billy Smiley, Rick Florian, Mark Gershmel, Tommy Sims, Jon Knox and Gordon Kennedy.

Undercover
White Heart Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The shadows are the place that he calls home
In disguise, he's a secret agent
His collars up, his hat is turned low
What's his game, what does he believe
He doesn't say too much and not too loud
Well he's moving around, he is always changing
Undercover
Is that where his faith goes
Undercover
The man that no one really knows
Seems his faith just comes and goes
East of hell, west of heaven
It's a no man's land where he seems to have gone
Well he's hiding out, is he a double agent
You just don't know whose side that man is on
Undercover
Is that where his faith goes
Undercover
The man that no one really knows
Seems his faith just comes and goes
The song 'Undercover' by White Heart is a thought-provoking, reflective piece that delves deep into the elusive character of a mysterious man, who remains a complete enigma to all those around him. The song talks about a man who is in constant motion, always on the run and seems to be hiding something. The lyrics suggest that he is a spy, working his way through different crowds, and hiding in the shadows. The song poetically depicts a man who is lost, running away from himself, and probably from his faith.
The song does not reveal much about the man's identity or his purpose but provides clues that he is always changing his face, and no one knows whose side he's on. This may indicate that the man is engaged in covert work, tangled in the web of espionage. The lyrics also mention that he seems to have gone to a no man's land, east of hell, west of heaven, indicating that he is going through a state of confusion and turmoil. The chorus of the song, "Undercover, is that where his faith goes, the man that no one really knows, seems his faith just comes and goes" reflects on the idea that a man who is always hiding, moving and changing his identity, may have lost his faith along the way. The song hints that his elusive character is hiding behind his undercover identity, an image that he has created to protect himself from the world, and not knowing who he is or what he believes in.
