All I want is You
Oh Jesus
All I want is You
All I want is You
All I want is You
All I want is You
All I want is You
The reward of worship is God, all I want is You
All I want is You
Yes blessings come but the reward of worship is God, all I want is You
All I want is You
You're my reward, You're my reward
All I want is You
See, yes you can be healed in the presence Of God, but He's reward of worship
All I want is You
He's the prize, all I want is You
All I want is You
All I want is You
All I want is You
All I want is You
Let you glory fill this house, let the weight of your presence fill this house
May the person of Jesus enter this house, let your weight so come that we can't barely breath
Your glory, Your glory, all I want is You (all I want is You)
Your glory, Your person, all I want is You
Take me in, take me in, all I want is You
Hold me a little bit closer, all I want is You
All I want is You, hold me a little while longer all I want is You Lord (all I want is You)
Take me a little bit deeper, all I want is You (all I want is You)
The lyrics of William McDowell's song All I Want Is You focus on the singer's deep desire for God's presence and nothing else. The repetition of the phrase "All I want is You" emphasizes that God is enough for the singer's needs and that His presence is the ultimate reward. The lyrics suggest that while blessings and healing may come through worshiping God, the true reward of worship is God Himself. The singer seeks to be filled with God's glory, and to have Jesus enter the house and be present.
The lyrics express a longing for a deeper relationship with God by asking Him to hold the singer closer and take them in deeper. The song acknowledges that nothing else can compare to the presence of God and recognizes the importance of worshiping Him for who He is rather than for what He can do for us.
In conclusion, the lyrics of All I Want Is You express the singer's deep longing for God's presence and the recognition that nothing else can compare to Him. The song emphasizes that the ultimate reward of worship is God Himself.
