Wisemen Lyrics

Rule two realms, yo watch me cool off hell
My grill ain't icey, but for real, I get dicey
And slice three books into the gospel of me
Fifty states of mayhem, Imaad bread bread
Dred scott for the basis, give me my brush to paint this
Aim razors at faces, that mandated us nameless
Now flavors are tasteless, the wind just takes it
I have a gift intended to uplift
Come on vocal sample lady, yo sing that shit
I came and went, blazed and bent
Drawing from my heart aiming to pay my rent, got damn it
Specializing, life times of rhyming inclined
To do crimes, man, to spit full time
I seen Ray walk inside beams of sunshine
Inhale brail, exhale scenes of lifetimes
Eyelids are heavy, steady spit deadly hybrid
Climb ten ladders, leap inside my brain matter
In these lyrics, Wisemen talks about his expertise in rhyming and the power he holds in two different worlds – the world of reality and the world of imagination. He compares himself to a guru of rhyme voodoo, someone who can manipulate language and flow effortlessly. He also mentions his control over hell, which could be interpreted as his ability to create chaos with his lyrics.
He goes on to talk about how he is not flashy like other rappers who wear icy grills, but his rhymes are sharp and can easily slice through three books to create a gospel about him. He mentions Dred Scott, who was a slave and sued for his freedom in a historic court case, as the basis for his lyrics. He then aims his razor-sharp lyrics towards those who have mandated that they remain nameless, indicating a sense of rebellion against authority.
Wisemen speaks about the current state of hip hop culture, where flavors and originality are being replaced by tastelessness and imitation. However, he believes that his gift of rhyming is intended to uplift people and make a positive impact. He encourages the vocal sample lady to sing it out, indicating that he wants his message to be heard.
The lyrics overall convey Wisemen's passion for hip hop and his abilities as a skilled rapper. He also touches on the broader themes of rebellion, control, and the search for originality in a genre dominated by imitation.
