Together
Wolf Patrick Lyrics

Travel drained, I write to you
You've been on my mind,
Cold days, long nights
A rooftop in Berlin,
I call, confess the state I'm in
These cities, this view,
And I can do this alone,
But we can do this so much better,
Together, together, together
And I can make it alone,
But we can make it so much better,
Together, together, together, together
London Bridge, the rain
At last, back in these arms again
I'm sorry I hurt you,
I hurt me too
Forgive my jealousy,
That's not the man I longed to be,
By your side my whole life,
True love knows no sacrifice
And I can do this alone,
But we can do this so much better,
Together, together, together
And I can make it alone,
But we can make it so much better,
Together, together, together, together
Together
Together
I put my honor in the waste,
Pull you closer and embrace
So divided we fall, but stronger we stand
Together
Together
Together
Together
Together
In the song "Together" by Wolf Patrick, the lyrics portray a sense of longing and reflection on a relationship that is currently distant or strained. The singer expresses feelings of loneliness and exhaustion while being alone in Paris, highlighting the impact of physical separation on their emotional state. The mention of cold days and long nights emphasizes the desolation they feel without their partner.
Moving on to Berlin, the singer makes a vulnerable confession over a rooftop, revealing the inner turmoil they are experiencing. The imagery of the cities and views around them serves as a backdrop to their realization that nothing seems complete or meaningful without the presence of their loved one. This illustrates the deep connection and significance their partner holds in their life.
As the song progresses, the lyrics shift to a more hopeful tone as the singer acknowledges that while they may be capable of facing challenges alone, they believe that the relationship can thrive and be more fulfilling when both partners are together. The repetition of the word "together" reinforces the idea of unity and strength in facing adversities as a couple.
The lyrics delve into moments of reconciliation and remorse as the singer reflects on past mistakes and apologizes for causing pain to their partner. There is a yearning to mend the wounds and a realization that true love requires forgiveness and understanding. The lyrics also touch upon the concept of personal growth and transformation, as the singer aims to be a better version of themselves for the sake of the relationship.
In the final verses of the song, the theme of unity and solidarity prevails as the singer emphasizes the importance of standing together and finding strength in each other. The imagery of pulling closer and embracing signifies a desire to overcome challenges as a unified force. The repetition of "Together" in the closing lines serves as a powerful reminder of the bond and connection that the singer cherishes with their partner, highlighting the value of love and partnership in navigating life's trials and tribulations.

A seemlessly modest and yet grandiose power ballad. A brilliant pop song and tremendously professional. Hats off to Patrick!

I'm so happy I found this song. I just got a cancer diagnosis and am having surgery for it in a week. I'm terrified. My husband and I listen to this song, holding hands, for strength. There are only a few select songs that we do this with because it helps us, and I'm glad I can add this one to the list. It has been tremendously helpful in calming me down.

Why did it take me forever to discover him? The US is seriously missing out.
That voice is like aged wine that comforts me during these lonely Corona-lockdown nights.

People slept on this. And now Lupercalia is not available on Spotify or other streaming. The sundark and riverlight album doesn’t do all the earlier versions justice. Just saying. I grabbed his stuff on vinyl. I found him in 2006ish through bands under the radar (BUTR) podcast. Hopefully we hear more from him or we get re-releases.
