It's strange these houses are incredible, but I am not sure if I would ever want to live in a house that big. I mean it's not like I always use the biggest rooms in my own house as cozy rooms are nice. The seem like nice places to visit for a weekend but not live in permanently. I guess anyone who can own a house like this could use it a weekend house only and for hosting parties.

This modern era of mega mansions fails miserably when compared to homes like the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC. Biltmore is over 178,000 sq ft but exudes comfort, luxury, unbelievable craftsmanship, and technology that was incredible for the era. This is just a very large property that as some already noted looks like a high end shopping mall.

The One is obviously not a box, it's an interesting flowing shape, and the more videos I see of it the more impressed I am with the way it's shaped and organized; architect Paul McClean delivered. It's obscenely gargantuan, to the point that there are sitting spaces between some rooms like an airport departure terminal, but on the medium scale there are some great arrangements like the pool over pool, the double-height office, the jogging track, and the fire pit islands in the water outside the dance club.

Thank you for showing this Enes. Love the channel! It is an Amazing home but I think it should've been even more about the outdoors with less living space. A shaded park would be nice on top of that hill. Absolutely love the Entry, the King palms, and the private pool among other great details. The running trail was clever to preserve that crisp framed edge. The engineering and site work on this place are epic. It does seem like the architect missed a chance to make it more affordable to maintain though. If I had unlimited money, I'd still balk at the upkeep cost.

Prob the only flaw(s) I can really see with this compound is, although it's cool that the lids automatically lift on the toilets (a feature that has been standard in Japan for years now, even for those who are not rich), I just feel that for that price, every last toilet in there should be a bidet. I didn't notice any section where you could push buttons or anything on the toilet, just the sensor lights for the automatic lids and that's it. For that price, bidet should be standard. If I were spending that kind of money I would have to INSIST that each restroom had a bidet whether it was the master suite or the guest rooms, or even the night club rooms.

Second flaw I caught is in the movie theatre. How tf did all that thought go into the design yet the seats have NO foot rests ? That's super wack. Again, for that price, these are details that are too great to overlook. The back of the chair reclines, but there is no footrest? And I can tell there isn't because dude literally tried to demonstrate it and only the back kept reclining, nothing happening at the feet. Theatres like AMC offer this feature as a standard at a lot of their locations. So I'd still have a reason to need to leave the house due to this flaw.

Also, maybe I didn't catch it but were there any EV charging stations in the parking lot? For that kind of money, and being in CA, you would think there would be at least a few parking spots that would have electric vehicle chargers.

I just feel that when spending this level of money to design a home, and expecting it to sell at a particular price point, you have to go to that fine line. I'm not sure how the designer missed such an important detail. I could probably notice even more flaws if I paid even closer attention, but those were the ones that really stuck out to me. It makes sense why this home didn't sell for the original asking price, or even the lowered asking price. Can't afford to make mistakes on a home that costs this much. The person who bought it probably had to consider the price of having some contractors come in to correct these errors/flaws.

In the early 2000s, I had the opportunity to tour Larry Ellison's $150 million estate in Woodside, CA. That place was truly amazing. There was nothing tacky or gawdy about it. There was a man made lake that everything was built around, which included a button where he could control the level of fog over the water. The materials he used were divine. There were Japanese tea houses all around the lake. Every little detail displayed the highest level of materials and craftsmanship. He flew in wood workers from Japan because they were the best in their trade. My boyfriend worked there. They all stayed in a home nearby that his employer rented out, and they would shuttle to work every day. They used hand tools that looked medieval. The first couple hours of the day, they would spend just sharpening their tools with these little stone blocks. The tools would be carefully rolled up in a leather pouch.
The roofs on the home and the tea houses were a work of art. Everything was so warm and so natural and beautiful. I truly can't find the words to describe it. If I was wealthy, I could live in a home like that, and I could justify the money spent because everything was meticulously hand crafted. The home and the materials were at one with nature. Every inch of the property felt warm and inviting and natural.
This place, The One, is cold and a bit gawdy. They use nice materials, but there's nothing warm or natural about it. A lot of the materials don't really look any different than what you would find at Home Depot. It's just big and cold. I think it would make a fabulous destination for events, like a wedding, but I can't imagine it ever feeling like a home.

Producer has this listening on YouTube as well, but I think Enes & Mickey makes it more detailed which gives feeling of personally visited the property. Keep up the good work boys you're awesome.

What a place. I’m trying to imagine how the owners of this house actually live day to day. I imagine there’s a full time staff needed to maintain it and staff the kitchens and bars. I would guess whoever owns this would also own many other mega mansions and they come here to host business partners, clients, or family and friends with all of the space and amenities that it has. We have a larger home and this house is about 30x larger. Simply amazing.

Mind boggling, it is. As much as the size, scale, and incredible attention to detail overwhelmes, I'd be hard pressed to call it a home. A home has a strong energy imprint left by those who have shared their lives and experiences within the walls of a dwelling. Due to its size, it would be almost impossible to feel any connection beyond being overwhelmed.

I am also predicting that mansions in general are going to nosedive in value especially with the new paradigm of ''we will own nothing and be happier'' Resource depletion and the climate crisis will put an end to what we deem as valuable and desirable.

To me, it had a commercial business vibe to it. Like a bank, a strip mall or something. Very overwhelming indeed! I am more of a traditional person when it comes to the house. A farmhouse, English Tudor or an A-frame would suffice nicely.

“It’s so much more than a home”…Yeah, it’s a hotel. Being that this property is so expensive, I was surprised to see that there was a blown window seal in one bedroom & the track glass railings looked either very dirty or heavy water spotting. Just goes to show…even the most expensive properties have imperfections. I find it very beautiful & would enjoy cleaning those windows! 😊

I want to know if those outdoor sofas are waterproof or heat resistant? There's a lot of stuff to dust and keep clean, and how many lights are there in total? You can imagine how much power it would take to the whole house going, but if the power fails is there a backup power source? And what kind of insurance do you need to have to replace things that break or get broken? If there's a fire, what kind of alarm system does the house have?...and there's a long list of questions besides these...

Great tour.. Some areas of the the home have a dream-like appeal, but I would not want to want to live in a Convention Center. The monthly utility bills are probably more than my annual income. I would definitely need to carry a map with me for the first year. For those who feel 48 bathrooms is not enough.. here you go.
